Don't know if people are aware of the duplicate thread problem here, which is immense by the way, nor do I know if it's been resolved yet or otherwise. So here I go making a thread to address the problem and to prevent the problem. And I don't give a fuck if it's not Country related, it's addressing a problem here.

I'll start with this, yo! People, you are not alone in your area, or at least chances are low. This site is not new, so of course there are threads about your area made. Do not think you are alone, do not assume it, etc. And do not act like you don't give a fuck if the thread is old or shit.

Anyways, for those of you who are like "but I don't see any threads about my state or shit", there's a function called View All Threads. It literally lets you VIEW ALL THREADS. And no, you don't have to actually sift through shit, just use ctrl + f and then type in the state/location/whatever you are in. And tada, you now know you really aren't alone and you've found others near you, while also preventing board spam.

To reiterate, View All Threads button to the right, CTRL + F ON YOUR KEYBOARD AND THEN type in your shit.

**WARNING**
Look at the time stamp while making your posts. If it's old and the member doesn't look like they're here on this site anymore, chances are they aren't. So be careful when asking "When do you want to meet up" etc etc. But that doesn't give you any right to make a new thread. Just ignore that one or many people and keep using the thread. It's called recycling, save the Earth, save our site.

Hey people, look to the right. See that button over there that says View All Threads? How about you use that in conjunction with Ctrl+F in order to make sure you aren't creating another duplicate thread. Seriously, we can't remove duplicate threads, so we are hoping that people either stop herp derping or being douchebags and ACTUALLY USE ALREADY CREATED THREADS.

Also, if multiple threads exist for your region, check the number of posts and the last post date and PICK ONLY ONE TO POST IN.

Also, the idea crossed my mind of creating a Link Mission where members go through the Countries Board and in all the repeats and double posts asking "Are there any Dollars in ______?" or the like and post links to the longest related (by country, state or whatever) thread.
After posting the links, then those taking on the Link and Bump Mission would go back through and bump those longest threads that were just linked to back up to the top.
I don't know if this would help things or just make it worse, but I figure it is worth a shot right?

I think that is a great idea. There isn't a thread that can be used; however, I have an idea for a new thread:

"Countries Board Index; BUMP AND REPOST INDICES"
or something.

It can contain an index like what I made for the states in the US Dollars thread, but instead it will provide links to all the Country threads I bumped (i.e. UK, US, Malaysia, Singapore, Germay, etc) as well as links to the Duplicate threads: Country board edition (this thread!) and the Description + F.A.Q. thread on the Main board. We could keep it constantly bumped up top and repost the indices constantly.
Unfortunately, I won't have time to do that today (and maybe not this weekend either :/) since it would require so much time. HOWEVER, if someone else wants to, right now, for the most part, all the threads from 1 to 111 are those that should be indexed in this new thread (except the threads for the US states since those will be indexed within the US thread itself).
The easiest way to determine whether or not a thread is a dupliate will be to open the thread and then CTRL + F "divineraccoon !lOJ5tap5Nk" (since I didn't start using the password tripcode until I took on organizing this board) and verify if I bumped it.
