So, as you may know, there's been discussion of meeting up on the East Coast for Dollars Day (19 June). However, since the meeting will probably be in New York, it would be pretty impractical for us Oregonians to go. Would anyone be up for a meeting closer to home (we could get our fellow Dollars from California, Washington, etc. together with us too)?

If it's in-state, I could probably make it. Where did you have in mind?

Probably in Eugene or some such city in the middle of the state, as your statistics would indicate is best. Though I personally may end up being in LA on the 19th anyway~

um, and also most states are as big as countries. it takes days to drive across the entire us so it is really hard for the dollars in the us to meet up. it is much easier to divide by states.

I live in Medford, Oregon. There has to be a better way to organize gathering local Dollars. Since each log in is anonymous, there are no notifications delivered. You would have to repeatedly check back to see if there have been any replies. I am not reading all 237 post to catch up on what's been said and I bet most don't either.

I think this site needs to also be broken into smaller sub-branches for local Dollars to communicate with each other more like in the show. I'm talking a Dollar chatroom for every state. A Dollar chatroom for every city. What do you all think of that idea?
