I was born in Cedar Rapids. Lived there and in Coggon until I moved to Indiana in the 5th grade. I have some family in Iowa, my entire dad's side of the family.
I visit Walker and Cedar Rapids from time to time whenever I head out that way. Sometimes drop by Coggon and Vinton but those are on very special terms.

I think it's fantastic how we can all meet and get together very easily. Now then, Let's not forget what great we can do in numbers and organization. If anyone has ideas, or events that we should attend/protest/etc. post here or simply start collecting everyone's number and create a 'circle' if you will of people you would get a hold of. I think we can make this place brighter if we work together. Also, I was recently in Dyersville signing up to be a bone marrow, platelets, Aphresis, and blood donor and also signed up to volunteer to help in donations. Just a little tidbit/example. Have a goodnight all of you. I'll give you my number if you specifically ask. Thanks for finding the Iowan board!

Might I suggest that we all wear duct tape arm bands for this one? It seems simple enough, and I doubt many others will be doing this. Hell, be creative and use colored/patterned duct tape if you have to. Let's put them on our right arms.
