Well, since we have the design maybe we can ask shops to do customised wristbands and distributes it to all the SG dollars. But there are 3 probs.1, I don't remember there's shops that do customised wristbands.2, Cost.3, How to distribute.

It seems like Groupme is an app that only works for smartphone i.e. iPhone, BB, Android and WP7. There's the SMS feature but it's only available in the USA. So none of us actually got any text messages. OTL. /sobs. We can chat freely on the site, but that's no different from this thread, nee?

We can test this Groupme thing out for a little more then decide whether to continue with it or pick another alternative.

Dress-code: no rules in particular, anything you want ^o^
Program: Self-Introduction + any entertainment stuff at Kallang leisure park (to be decided)

How we are going to recognize each other:
I'm going to send a group text message out to everyone just like in canon. "Everyone who is looking at their phones right now is a friend." or something to that effect, depending on the situation, hahahahaha. My handphone number ends with xxxxx838.

@Shuusaki I think the entrance fee is not too bad, depending on whether you just want to check out the festival or the events as well. Last year, I mainly spent on merch + fanart. I think I spent $60 in total for the one day I went (inclusive of the $18 entrance fee) XD

There's a Japanese Arts Fiesta held at Dunman High School and everyone is welcomed :) there will be traditional Japanese things and of course, not to mention, anime:) Rinkaki-san and Megumii-san will be going. The Japanese Arts Fiesta (JAF) is a nation-wide event organised by our very own DHS YUTAKA JAPANESE CULTURAL CLUB!
It will be held on the 2nd June 2012 in school. There is a huge lineup of programs organised FOR YOU to understand the Japanese culture better, be it pop culture or traditions :D

Like your tea to be served the traditional way by MAIDS AND BUTLERS? Then hesitate no further because ACG will be holding our annual Cafe <3 at the event itself! There will also be a concert by popular rock bands and singers at the event as well!

Admission tickets to the Japanese Arts Fiesta are at $2.00 each.
Entrance fee to the Maid Café will be a separate $10.00.

Tickets to the event will be on sale on the day itself!

Sorry for the double post, folks! This is about the TENTATIVE UPCOMING OFFLINE MEETING~~~ ^o^/

There's really a three-fold to this XD Bear with me, plz, loves! XD
1) Yeah, so, Ki-chan and I were just talking and as a random passing thought, we thought maybe y'all may want to have another offline at the end of the year (cuz the last one in May was pretty fun an all.)
2) Also, at the recent Summer Festival, Suzuki-san and Bluebird-san were also expressing this same thought to Shuu-chan and me, cuz they missed the last offline meeting (I know a few of y'all couldn't make it).
3) Moreover, Ki-chan counted (bless her for taking the time to XP) that we have over 50 Dollars members now! WooT! Several joined after the 1st meeting. So maybe, the end-of-year offline meeting can be a welcome parteeey as well =)

Of course,
I do understand that end of year is your long holiday and some of y'all told me you may be flying off overseas on a vacation with your family. No biggie!
This is, after all, just a passing thought~Teehee XP
Ki-chan and I were thinking somewhere around Xmas time~ that's more than a month after AFA~

Well, it really depends on which movie you want to watch. Some, for example, like [K] and Eureka 7 AO are not 'movies' per se but shorter anime screenings as part of main stage events. You can watch these as long as you purchase the Festival + Stage tix ($20 per pax per day).
For some others i.e. The Puella Magi Madoka Magica Movies, you have to purchase a separate movie ticket to watch.
It's my 2nd time attending AFA as well, I just stalk AFA facebook page for info, hahaha. Hope this helps! ^w^

Kallang leisure park has all three as well as ice skating but it may be a bit far for some... As for days, we only have tomorrow, saturday and sunday left and tomorrow is quite short notice which leaves us with saturday and sunday unless we decide on meeting in the new year ^^
