Hmm. I kinda feel like I'm more afraid of myself than the other drivers? Mostly cause my panic response is to freeze. Last time I tried driving, I turned too much and went over the curb, headed right towards a tree. I completely froze. Didn't try to turn away, hit the brakes, or even lift my foot off the gas. Just froze exactly as I was. My mom had to climb over me to hit the brakes before the vehicle got to that tree. Makes me afraid of what kind of situations I'd get in if I just froze in response to something while driving alone.

More than 2 weeks since I got back home and I'm just now getting close to having all my stuff unpacked. Gotta get my room all nice and prepared for when I bring my kitten home next month.

I feel hopeless and trapped and frustrated. I feel like I have no outlet either. like anywhere I post about my feelings or thoughts I immediately get shut down. I want to convey my feelings through my art, specifically music, but my music tends to be more sarcastically "optomistic" or very self-analytical and self-mocking. I want to do more hard rockey stuff but i dont think i can do that without it just devolving to literally screaming without words at this point because of how much has built up, plus i cant actually make music an need help from other people.

My visual and storytelling art is more focused on other stuff, and honestly I dont think it's that good. I have no way of releasing negative emotions and I don't know what to do.

I also feel like things I used to use to vent, or things that used to comfort me are slowly being stripped of that. Either they're associated with someone who makes me feel shitty, or I realize the creators of said art, or the community around it would/does hate me. I feel like I'm never safe, I don't have a place to feel comfortable or anything to comfort me.

It's so strange though because literally spent a day at Yellowstone and Grand Teton where it was snowing and then the next day I'm back in Oklahoma where it's warm and sunny...

I am such a moron sometimes. I've been working on these pages for one of my novels which involves texting between the two mcs and I initially had the pages formatted so that the texts were on the far right and for right of the screen like real text messages would appear which was an absolute formatting pain. Yesterday though I suddenly remembered that Tapas updated their novel platform so that images could be uploaded and I realized that I could just draw the cell phone screen with the text messages on it and upload the pics and not even worry about the formatting. All that effort for nothing. ;-;)9

Writing the next arc will be annoy. To use terms that are easier for me to think in, it's a lot more open-world than the previous few. The overarching goal has already been established, but that's for what would effectively be the end of book 2, maybe book 3 depending on how things would be split in the theoretical universe where my writing could ever be made into book format (real life doesn't have the ability to hover your mouse over text to get a popup with more text in it.) Writing is so much easier when it's very railroaded, like the previous arc. Well, upcoming arc from the readers' points of view. 14 chapters ahead of release schedule.

Little Nightmare was free a few days ago, just finished it right now. TIL watching someone's playthrough and actually playing the game firsthand is invokes different experience.

So I've been trying to get into the Pokemon Trading Card game. I guess it's kinda fun, but I wish the online game had better graphics tbh. My hand hurts so bad. Just killed a boss intended to be killed by level 75s with a level 63 weapon in Wynncraft. Now that I did that, I can't even maintain height while flying*. First time I'm taking a break from a game because playing it caused my hands to be near-unusable.

*In the game you can fly using movement skills. Problem is, I'm Shaman. I need to hit 6 buttons to use my movement skill. In order to maintain height, Shamans need to hit 6 buttons per second. In order to gain height, they need to go even faster.

I've not reached 106 (and I don't think I will grind the slightly less than whole 3 levels for which there are no major quests or the ~60% I still need to get 103,) but I have obtained the gear that gives the best possible health regen. I think I'm done with Wynncraft. Only thing I can really do is farm for tons of money to reroll my gear to get the best possible health regen and health (since 3% health = regen on Shaman) rolls on them, which would take hours alone.

Everytime I've tried to call to answer the questions they have about my pre certification request, it gets sent to voicemail and they still haven't returned my calls. It's getting super frustrating. I was already low on mental capacity and was doing my utmost to finish everything I had put on my urgent-to-do list without second thought.

The clues from much later ones got treated better because I could still process them rationally. Few of my supposedly favorite part of the puzzles couldn't make it to the final cut due to time constraint and I swiftly removed them almost without trace, maybe I'll talk about them later down the line.

My sister's having a baby in many months. We learn whether it's a loli or not in like 2 weeks. There are 3 ways this goes: One of them changes schedule to have one of them at home 24/7 and they never have time to be with each other; one of them becomes a stay at home parent (and I highly doubt my sister would be the one to do it, though I am uncertain about her husband;) or she drops it off here before work and picks it up after work, which will last for at most 2 months before she decides it's too much work to do it that way it lives here now.

I'm betting on the last one happening because I know my sister.

Eh, you guys haven't seen me around an IRLoli, so it's fair. I'd like to think I'm not a complete stranger, though I am still a stranger. I'd worry about me having a little girl around me 24/7, as well, if I didn't know me as well as anyone who has met me IRL more than like twice, let alone live inside my skin. I have no real way to make the worry or doubt or whatever go away, so blah.

But yeah, fun times. This kid is going to have so many things to do. We have tons of video games that I grew up on, a 2-story play house that's like the size of 8 couches and has a slide coming out of it, an entire like 8(?) acre woods we used to explore all the time, a pond that's huge, some horses to ride, 4-wheelers, and an uncle who will ineffectually punch a bear if needed. If they don't want to go to school, my mom has a teaching degree and I'm above average IQ and can learn whatever's state/federal mandated to teach.

I've started getting back into shape for real, rather than just as a byproduct of keeping my lungs working, since I've learned of the incoming child. It's only been a couple days, so no real results yet, but still. Increased the walking by like 50% and started lifting weights. Granted, they're only 20 pound weights, and I can lift two 50 pound bags of horse feed, but still. I don't expect to need to lift a whole truck or whatever, but I will want to be able to lift them up and spin them around or whatever it is they want when they want it, and my endurance has never been my strong suit. I doubt they'd want to take 2 minute breaks every 10 minutes so I can get back to 100% capacity.

Ahh, I finally finished Steven Universe. The last season Future made me cry a whole bunch. I really loved the shows way of presenting trauma and serious adult topics in an easy to understand way for kids. I especially love that the said trauma was never just brushed over or neatly cleaned up in an episode or two. Whenever a character had emotional struggles and dealt with past abuse it became a part of their character and they never glossed over it. I also loved the easy representation of the lgbtq+ and non-nuclear families in the show, they were never afraid to show gay couples or explore topics that are considered taboo for kids. Such a great show. Definitely the type of show that everybody should watch at least once in their life.

When I think about it, Valve is a real genius at playing their card with the Half Life sequel. I never played Half Life before, but knowing that they literally waited until VR market is mainstream enough to release HL3 in that platform just shows how far ahead they had been planning it, it was their trump card to have a chance at getting a large slice of revenue and they aren't going to waste it on PC platform.

Be careful. Sunburns get worse before they get better. I got burnt yesterday (cause I thought I was only going in for orientation, but it was also apparently my first day. I was on the bus today and saw this small plastic circle looking thing on the window. It was almost like a flat bubble kinda and it reflected light really nicely. When I looked at it a second time, I saw this really vivid image of this garden, but like the type you see in fantasy stories with bright colours and arches and all that stuff. Board sites didn't update in real time, of course it'll always looked dead. Add that with the low activity and the site's borderline non-existent traffic, it enhances the overall experience.

We have many members anyway, just that most of them doesn't understand how board site works or really just prefer to be a bystander lurking. And being spread across the listed communication platforms, that in turn strained the bond of the community as well.

I don't think I'll do any attempts to burst up activities anytime soon, it'll take a bit of time for me to recover from that poor reception of a certain Dollars event I took part in setting up.

It was made in such a way that people wouldn't be able to solve it unless members from each different platform worked together to figure it out. Unless you had access to all Dollars platform, which I doubt many would even be. There, I gave you a reason to interact with the community.

Would also like to add, the individuality trait that all platform exhibits made it impossibly difficult to support each other in times of need. Site dead? Not our problem, we have no control over there. Their boat is theirs and our's is ours, they can die for all we care. We never bothered anyone either, so its not like we're obligated to bother with them in the first place.

Which is not very unusual, people wouldn't normally had that much social energy to spend on that much of different communities in the first place. Just that I feel we could do much better than this, and yet we didn't.

Of course people had their own personal opinion that the site and the communication platform is interconnected, being tied to one another. But representing the large collective idea of the community from that one platform, its a whole other story.

And I can't talk about this anywhere else either apart from RTT, because of the exact reason that I didn't have much of an influence or let alone a social circle within the other platforms. Almost like a stranger shouting non-sense in public, and people wouldn't exactly like radical new ideas either so they either treated you as incomprehensible noises or even called you out for crying out.

I kind of wonder what the place would look like if there was only a single board.

I was pondering about this today, if SH ever get an adaptation and reminding fans once more of our site's existence, the Dollars in the story and our Dollars will be in an identical situation where they had shut off as shown in X2's Ketsu. Meanwhile on this side, Dollars had driven off all their members. Unlike them who went off with a bang, we're going through an excruciatingly slow fading quiet death.

When the last of the RTT goers feel like no one would ever post again apart from themselves, that would be the day it died. I feel like that would be the case in the future.

Fear not, because Narita of course had inserted another identical element of story in SH. A website, as you might've guessed. And the fans would definitely jump on that, and perhaps I too would.

Mom made some sort of deal/contract to a small cafe near the house to supply them with our bakeries. She also accepts orders from people sometimes, me and my siblings most of the time just help with the packaging after everything is finished and preparing the basic ingredients, mainly cutting, mixing stuff, and grating the cheese.

It was from 2015 as you can probably tell, Thiamor's friend hosted it for him. But unfortunately, the folks that I've been acquainted with aren't exactly close with him, so connections are severed and the trails went cold.

I believe it never took off from the early-access stage, hence the unpolished look. I also wrote about it last year, you might've remembered. But actually not, I just checked and I never mentioned anything about my findings on Cyberconnects so here we go.

There wasn't much to begin with, other than it was hosted to shortlink the GroupMe invite link back in 2014. In 2015, it is turned into the Chatroom, but is buggy and also stuck in development hell. Either it never took off and be known by the rest of the members, or it was widely used by the members but never was the link got publicly shared around to keep it as an exclusive BBS members-only Chatroom site.

Whichever it is, the Chatroom site eventually got deserted and Thiamor never brought it up again until his 'graduation' sometime in 2016.

Interesting fact, the script to keep the chatroom functional was never properly disabled until the end of 2020 when I accidentally found it and made a room there before leaving 10 minutes later because of course, no one showed up. When I come back the next day, I can't get past the login page anymore.

Whoever hosted the site out there saw the statistics went up and decided to just take the site's soul out.

Fun fact that I figured out, the chance of URLs in your reply to hyperlink itself will drastically go up if you're attaching an image (preferably jpg) with the resolution of both height and length at least measuring above 1000.

Started and finished Loki yesterday. Absolutely fantastic, it really does need a season 2. I'm now more stoked about the upcoming Dr. Strange and Spider-Man movies to see how the address the multiverse problem. But I'm also a little upset because this means that Young Avengers will likely not happen next year. They've been slowly introducing the Young Avengers and I was really hoping that they would get their own series pretty soon, but since Loki is one of the members and his series isn't finished I doubt they'll start anything before that.

I also finished His Dark Materials a while back which was really good. It's very rare that a book adaptation is on par with the book series, but this series just has fantastic writing and amazing actors to bring it all to life. Can't wait for the third/final season to air.

Also also finished HBO's Perry Mason. I doubt any of you have actually heard of/watched Perry Mason, but I used to watch the original show with my grandparents when I was in my tweens. Honestly, this show is probably the reason why I love mystery and cop procedural shows so much because Perry Mason was always brilliant and I loved watching him run around and find clues. The HBO remake was decently good too. I kinda wished the show had focused more on the mystery aspect of the series and made a proper whodunit that the audience could've specualted about and played detective along with, but the show was more interested in establishing Mason's origin story. It was still a great show though and I wouldn't mind if they brought it back for a second season.

Surgery went very well. One minute I was waiting to get brought to the operating room and then the next, I was awake and getting wheeled out to the vehicle to go home. I very much do mot have a fear of surgery anymore, it was such a pleasant experience. All of the staff was super nice and informative. I was in such good hands. I don't feel much pain right now which is also nice. Can't wait until I'm able to actually see the results but it feels so unreal to look down at my chest and see it flat!

Kinda sad we haven't heard any developments on QSCR rooms since 2017. It'd be cool to have wireless everything that takes less than ~400 watts. More accurately, 100 watts at a little less than 14 feet from the central pole and 1900 watts at inches from the pole. If I had a central pole in the wall between my bathroom and my room and converted the two into a QSCR pair of rooms, I'd be able to power literally everything in my room 100% wirelessly, even my computer.

Anyways. Yeah. I feel like i'm always drowsy or tired nowadays. I feel like I messed up somewhere in life. Maybe in multiple places.

I should've gone to college and studied tech or something, those jobs pay a lot of money. But I didn't. I'm 25 and I regret not going to college. I look at it now and I am like scared to go. I know community college is cheaper, but like a university is supposed to be the real experience. But then also hearing how much dept people have gotten into because of college makes me think all my savings will disappear if I go. That I'll end up in massive debt or something and I really hate debt/being in debt.

I grew up with government assistance here in the U.S. (Medi-cal, foodstamps, etc). I might have to back to that lifestyle if I wanna go through college. And that was not fun. But I feel like my life is not fun rn either anyway... so... what's the worst that could happen? I've already gone through enough crud in life that I shouldn't be afraid of anything. Yet I'm somehow afraid of being in school setting with other people again and I might have to actually socialize. I'm very dumb.

I literally don't remember anything from highschool either. Ignore my self pity session above. I see to have them occasionaly and don't actually change anything. Just ignore it. Just had to get that off my chest.

I was being really dumb at first and was trying to use felt to cover the top and bottom, but quickly realized that that wasn't gonna work so I switched to wrapping it in yarn which worked out really nicely.
Can't decide if I want to paint the inside black or just leave it as is.

i put in some bits into bitcoin when the price was low 38,000.00 and its bounced up i used a spreadsheet i made from other videos on youtube and made sense of the numbers based off the 52 week high/lows by finding the fair price and sell prices once i have the numbers i could pull data from google finance to keep it updated it sets buy hold and sell based off where the market is so you know when to get in vs not knowing when to buy or sell

This paired with the aforementioned overleveraging and inflation will cause a cascading effect of margin calls and defaults where we will witness stocks drop sharply due to sell offs. This includes any financial institutions involved in cryptocurrency at the time, be it bitcoin, Ethereum, or something else selling off the respective cryptocurrency also. Dropping their values off a cliff alongside the general market. IF it isn't clear for whatever reason, this crash will also effect foreign markets through the many interconnections of the global economy.

Thus, while it may be beneficial to follow your plan at the current moment. I would personally advise against holding onto the the currency for a long period of time. I personally see the crash either happening Q4 2021 or Q1 2022, potentially later if some action is taken by the U.S government that actually slows the current speed at which the economy is falling apart. It goes without saying I also don't believe it'd be wise to hold onto any long positions you may have in the stock market. In the near future, despite the seemingly never ending rise we currently are witnessing and the promising gains it brings, there will be a cliff it eventually leads to, and the risk to still be on board when the cliff comes is not worth the gain.

Bitcoin will actually be legal tender in El Salvador starting September 7th. From what I've heard, they're even requiring any institution that is capable of including Bitcoin payment system to do so.

I bought a month of Netflix so I've been binging shows. I already finished Shadow Bone (very good. Loved the crows, didn't like Alina.) and Lucifer s5b (good as well. Always appreciate the meta humor.) I also watched the french movie How I Became a Superhero which was quite enjoyable, but also something that's already been done before, but the French have such lovely cinematography and sfx so it made up for it. I started watching s2 of Lupin last night which has been very good so far. I only got two eps in before I had to go to bed, but I love the characters and the mind tricks they all play on each other.

This summer really sucks for mosquito bites, I got about 20 last month and 12 this month so far.

Finished Lupin s2. A very enjoyable show, not nearly as nailbiting as some other suspense/thriller series, but like I've said before the French are quite exceptional at their cinematography and sfx which makes the show worthwhile.

I also finished The Irregulars which is a Holmes/Watson spin-off focused on a group of kids solving paranormal crimes for the duo. This one was quite interesting in the fact that the plot felt like it had been lifted straight out of an mg novel (very similar to Lockwood and Co.), but was very willing to include cussing, gore, drugs, and the occasional bum which is obviously not mg. The overall plot was quite interesting, but all of the subplots ended up being bad. I didn't like the Watson love triangle they created because they clearly wanted it to be a big plot reveal moment, but then the whole thing was super obvious so it just fell flat and then the main subplot which was a love arc between the mc and the prince ended unresolved and sad so obviously not good. If it gets a second season I might recommend it, but as is it's not really worth the watch.

RIP Lily soon. The tiny chiwiener's 14 and a half years old. Her heart's been bad for at least a year and ~4 months. She went outside and hid right before a storm came and we couldn't find her. Three days later, she began swelling up like she did previously due to a water build up.

Her kidneys have effectively died and there's no way she's surviving long enough to get them working again. She was drained of two cups of liquid and was still a pound heavier than normal.

It is paradoxical, funnily enough.

If we do nothing, the fire eventually fades out and site's community dead.

If we make a thread about how we need to resurrect it, people will know its dead. "Resurrecting it seemed like much a hassle, so I will come back when they recovered whatever they've lost that they wanted to gain back." and if everyone thought like so, site will die either way.

Alternate scenario 1 includes, "Sure, what's the plan?" expecting it to be recruitment missions, hang-posters, do good deed, something tangible that could convince yourself that progress is actually being made. But instead, being more active in the site, post more intelligent discussions. "What the hell is that!? That's SO not like Dollars, that's boring! Let me step back a bit, and eventually leave this place quietly." Site eventually dead.

Alternate scenario 2 includes, "Sure what's the plan?" to be more active, post more intelligent discussions on the site. "Okay!" they said, despite not knowing what that really means. Contributes nothing, only do things when specifically ordered/guided. Site eventually dead.

The best course of action is to simply do nothing, insist that the site is not dead, and act like nothing is really happening. Just like how Naga Sake explained it, we've only come full circle.

At the very least, the lack of explanation to the newcomers would make them wonder where everybody is. Japanese names are so cool. I'm from a lame place with lame names and it'd probably be considered rude if I ever had a kid and named them something Japanese given my background, but I can wish. I always thought it was interesting that Japanese names are put together with pieces that each have their own meaning. Like some mean "love", "winter", "child", "blessing", and ect. And when you put it all together you get something cool like "winter child" or something like that.

AND THE MEANING OF THE PEICES CHANGED BASE ON THE KANJI!!! Like it's just so interesting to imagine that there would be so many potential ways to spell a name that is said the same, and each spelling can have a different meaning, resulting in tons of different meanings behind a single name. It's just so fascinating.

I've been trying to begin some writing stuff I'm just doing as a fun little exercise, and one of the characters I am creating for my story is Japanese and I didn't know what to name him so I started looking online and found all these meanings for names that I thought were just names. Like I understand that there are technically meanings for European names and the such, but none seem to be even known amongst people, unlike what I've seen to be the case in Japanese culture from anime and the such (just realized here that I'm potentially really ignorant and maybe Japanese people don't care as much also).

So I was browsing for a bit, and eventually I found a name I liked, In English it's written as Keisuke. In kanji it's written as 佳佑. (i can't really confirm this being the dummy i am, so take a grain of salt here). From what I found, 佳, means "beautiful" or "lovely", and 佑, means "to help someone". And I just found that to be really cool so that's the name I picked for my character.



Sorry if I'm like an idiot on the topic and culture in general. I really don't mean any disrespect if this comes off in any way negative. This was just something I found super fascinating recently so I wanted to put it into this thread.

Does anyone else have a term for fights that are winnable, but must be lost to progress a story? I forget the exact game, but when I was young, I was over at a friend's house and they had a game with what they called a "destined lose" fight in it. It wasn't easy to win, but it wasn't impossible or even that hard to win. Regardless of the difficulty of it, you had to lose to progress.

The former is very much not what I mean, because I failed the mission like 3 times thinking I just had to defeat the enemy in a certain amount of time, when I actually had to lose. It wasn't an invincible enemy, just a fight you had to lose to progress.

Had a really strange dream.

I'm sick and was very much huddled under my blanket for warmth. My dream was about self-growing pipes that I could let my body follow for more efficient heat retention.

It worked IRL. I'd wake up, pose a leg or something to follow the pipe in my dream, and I'd get less cold IRL, then go back to sleep for more instructions.

As we got closer and closer to a full body thing, I noticed that the pipes were taking longer and longer and stopped working even half as well. I watched someone die for following them to completion and struggled to regain use of my body.

It worked and I got the dream police on the case of the fever pipes. I woke up as soon as the police agreed to look into it.

Fever finally broke. I feel quite dizzy and a little nauseous, though. Nowhere hurts, though, which is nice.

I haven't been dizzy for more than a few seconds at a time before, and now I know hate being dizzy for extended periods of time. If I walk slowly, I can have it not affect my walking, but my eyes rotate when they think I'm tilting to a side and cause me to defocus from what I'm looking at until I force the issue. It's very annoying.

So I finished Ragnarok s2 and it was so good. I enjoy how concise the show is. Like there's almost zero subplots and the few there are tie in directly with the main plot. And despite the fact that the side characters get almost no screen time they're still well developed and understandable. Plot is also very good, they do a really good job with blending the historic norse mythology with the modern mythology ie Loki and Thor being brothers instead of uncle and nephew. I hope the show gets a s3 considering it left off on a cliffhanger, but it's also such an underrated show that I could see Netflix cancelling it.

My youngest sister has been having trouble completing some of her assignments. She explained that she has trouble writing down her thoughts because they are usually all over the place and she likes having a person help her so she can talk through her thoughts. But she can't just have a person around for every assignment.
So... I've introduced her to the concept of rubber duck debugging and gifted her with a little rubber duck friend. :)
It's only been a couple minutes but she's already gotten some stuff written down now, compared to her previous efforts of trying to focus on it for over an hour - nothing written. So the duck is helping, yay!

Method of debugging code. You have a rubber duck and you explain your code to the duck out loud line by line. Explaining it out loud usually makes you catch something you wouldn't have by just scanning over it.
Doing the same thing but with your thoughts can help sort them out, so the rubber duck is useful for more than just bath time and coding!

Finished Castlevania s3 and s4. Very good. I love the art style and the voice actors are fantastic and obviously the plot is incredibly well done as well. I think my only problem with the show is the lip syncing, I don't know what it is but it just looks slightly off. I don't know if it's because of the animation style (which is kinda on the minimal side) that makes it seems like the words don't match the lips, but that's the only bad thing about the series that I can think of. I don't think they'll do a s5, but if they do I'll be very happy. 9/10 would recommend.

So I watched Hamilton last night. That play is quite the experience. I don't normally like musicals or stuff like that, but the music in Hamilton was surprisingly good and the singers/actors did a fantastic job. Loved the way the plot kept circling back into itself instead of just being a linear story. It was very cleverly written and well done.

Also finished Young Royals today. Absolutely loved it. A very good bl series with lots of twists and emotions. I really liked that none of the characters were like out to get each other like in most other teen dramas where there's always a central bully. The characters were refreshingly complicated and realistic. Not to mention the actors playing the characters looked like teenagers and not 20yo models. The prince actually had acne which is crazy. It's too bad the series has a sad ending, hopefully it gets a second season. Hard to know with Netflix because the platform is kinda homophobic.

So I have a pretty passionate hot take:

If you call gay people queer, you are no friend of mine. Even if you are gay. I do not accept the label of "queer" for gay people period. It's not "reclaimed". It is at worst a slur and at best an adjective that pushes the culture surrounding gayness in the exact opposite direction I want to.

In the literal sense of the word, being gay should not be seen as 'queer'. Neither should being trans. People calling themselves queer draw a bigger divide between them and straight people instead of closing that divide.

Me telling someone I'm gay should elicit the same response as telling them I'm left handed. I dont' need someone telling me they're "oh just so proud of me for being so brave" like damn, if you're gonna be like that to me just kill yourself already.

As as whole I can't stand the people who call themselves the "LGBT community", as if there could ever be a single monolithic gay community. Yet, as a bisexual person myself I am preassured to conform to and integrate into this community, that is a community but don't believe it's truly the "LGBT community" it's the rainbow flag community, because gay people are as ideologically varied as any other group of people. Again there is no "left handed community"

I heavily disagree that it isn't an insult. There are still many places that use it as such. I've had it used as an insult towards me before (and threatened with r*** in the same sentence), which is a large part of why I personally do not reclaim it nor do I feel comfortable with the LGBT+ community being referred to as it. I'm all for people choosing to reclaim it and even using it to describe their identity, but it is absolutely a slur and shouldn't be used for people who haven't explicitly expressed they are okay with it.
I will agree that conformity within the LGBT+ community is ridiculous since a LOT of us fight against that. I know that I'm definitely not trying to conform to anything, I'm just doing what makes me happiest and most comfortable.

I'm always confused as to why people seem to take such extreme stances on this whole q**** issue. A lot of people seem to either being entirely against it being used or so for it that they will use it to describe anybody who is LGBT+ even without explicit permission. Like, it has a history of being used as a slur and some people have been negatively affected by it, so it makes sense for them to have discomfort with it. And some people find power in reclaiming it and identify with it. I can't understand why some people can't respect both people who don't want to be called it and people who reclaim it.

I see this argument so often on so many other sites and in-person groups, but I gotta say, did not expect it here, lol

And "LGBT Community" makes as much sense as "Black People Community", "CALD Community" and "White People Community" with the difference only being in the size it implies.
If white people community doesn't mean anything to someone then LGBT Community probably doesn't mean anything either and that's it. For others it's just a way to identify with a broader group to foster a sense of identity and acceptance.

Agree that no individual should say that they represent the LGBT Community, but probably shouldn't hold anything against people who voluntarily identify themself as a member.

Same thing applies if you're complaining about site being dead.

Kinda gives you an insight on why the only popular board sites still left standing during this day and age, is because they housed some of the darkest and most twisted community on the surface-web. Of course, those kinds of community are the main attraction of the site.

Is there another way to foster activities without having to trespass that threshold? Who knows?
