>>625 (Keith) I remember when I was teaching craft classes the one thing I didn't like was dealing with annoying parents. Like some parents would look at their kids' bad art and get a good laugh out of it and others would be mad that it didn't look like the example pieces. I once had a mom actually throw her kid's painting in the trash because she thought it was ugly.
Anyways
I started some new BLs, both are historical dramas, but they have very different tones. Edge of Horizon has been on my to watch list for months, I've been impatiently waiting for it to be closer to finishing before I started watching because binge watching is the best way. Edge of Horizon, is actually very similar to Love in the Moonlight (
>>452) except the drama is more grounded in reality. I also really love the dynamic between the seme and uke. They grew up together so they're really comfortable around each other and even when they're fighting you can tell that they still care about each other which just really pulls at the heart strings. There's still two eps left to air and more drama to get through, but I'm hopeful for a good ending.
The other series I started is called Love Destiny. This one is a time travel/reincarnation drama. It's much more light hearted than Edge of Horizon, it's closer to Love Upon a Time (
>>560) without the murder mystery, but the plot is still pretty interesting. I'm really enjoying the main character, the way he'll just confidently flirt with the seme is so cute. I'm six episodes in though and they still haven't kissed, the teaser for ep 7 makes it seem like it's gonna happen soon, but I'm super impatient lol. I'm also really curious to see if the seme will actually figure out that the main character is from the future, it seems to be heading that way but I've never seen a time travel story where the main character's origins were discovered. Now I wish I'd waited longer to watch so I wouldn't have to wait to find out lol, but oh well. I really wanted to watch some fun shows to balance out the drama of Knot and Mr. Kill. Those two are doing my head in at the moment.
