Gol D. Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and death of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was this revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, men who dreamed of finding One Piece (which promises an unlimited amount of riches and fame), and quite possibly the most coveted of titles for the person who found it, the title of the Pirate King.

Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy that defies your standard definition of a pirate. Rather than the popular persona of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ransacks villages for fun, Luffy’s reason for being a pirate is one of pure wonder; the thought of an exciting adventure and meeting new and intriguing people, along with finding One Piece, are his reasons of becoming a pirate. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew travel across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unveiling dark mysteries and battling strong enemies, all in order to reach One Piece.

First of all, I'd like to say that I cannot believe it took me so long to actually read One Piece... I kept on putting it off like, 'It's too long...' or 'I don't have the time'... Only now do I see how wrong I was, I just got caught up yesterday and the first thing that crossed my mind was, "Man, I sure wish there were 600 more chapters for me to read."
One Piece is by definition, an Epic. It is also by definition, epic in its entirety. I've never in my life read something that keeps getting better...and better...and better, as I go on. Every once in a while I find myself pausing, sitting back and just saying... "...Fuck." But at the same time, it get me emotional too, and it hits me when I least expect it. There were so many points where I found my self holding back tears due to the sheer amount of emotion Eiichiro Oda is able to put into his characters. This experience has shed a new light on manga for me, and I have a newfound respect for Eiichiro Oda, who is a genius by the way. So much so that it caused me to make this thread. All in all, it was amazing, and it isn't even over yet.

This is my favourite anime because it has violence humor and real life problems and really not predictable (i'll leave it at that juss in case of spoilers)

I started watching the first few episodes just 1-2 years ago, but after the 3rd episode i just stopped watching it. I didn't like the Art and the stori wasn my type either.

u have to get into it DX when it first came out i refused to watch it as well butt idk why but i juss started watching it in like janurary and im almost caught up. the story is amazing and the art gets better in the last 2 sagas i believe

So, I read about sth on Google+, and it really sparked my thoughts and I kinda added on. So here goes:
Right now, we're currently at Dressrosa (anime)
And first off i want to point out that Oda loves to add in myths and legends to his stories (Eg, Skypiea, Mermaids, Dragons etc). Also, some of the characters are based off of people irl (eg Enel -Eminem, Edwards Newgate - Whitebeard, Eustass 'Captain' Kidd - William 'Captain' Kidd etc)

So in Dressrosa, from it's culture, likes it's dance and music etc, it reminds one of Spain. Note that Don Quixote is also a Spanish name~

Now, in the manga, Trafalgar's full name is revealed--- Trafalgar D Water Law. Yes, he is a "D" holder, but that isn't the main point. The 2 key-words are "trafalgar" and "water". And here is where the main part comes. Not to write in full details, but these are 2 Battles which you should take note of:
~Trafalgar Battle: British VS France and Spain. France and Spain had 33 ships, and 22 were destroyed in battle. British lost ZERO, and earned victory. So, assuming that Dressrosa is Spain, then it's alley- France, will be Kaido. Or to be specific, Napolean is Kaido, because of Doffy's alliance with Kaido and SMILE. Then that would make the British the StrawHats and Law. This makes sense, because Napolean and Kaido are both emperors (One is Emporer of France, the other is Yonkou)

~Waterloo Battle: This is the final battle Napolean was in, where he tasted defeat.
So, what if Oda was using this history in his story? Well, a similar storyline anyway. Then maybe, the next arc, which may be at Wano Kingdom, will be about how Mugiwaras and Law take down one of the Yonkou!

This is just a theory, but, what are your thoughts about this?

Are they having a new opening song soon? Last song "We Are!" went for 80+ episodes, in the middle change to "Hands Up!" and change back again. The current opening "Wake Up!" is nice but it's taking up a lot of episodes..lol

Gear 4, the battle between Doflamingo and Luffy has finally started and the chapter ends with Luffy telling him off and putting his arm to his mouth and stating "Gear 4" I've never have gotten so excited over ANYTHING like this until now. What do you think the ability will be like?? What new ability will Oda show us? I just can't wait!!!

(theory) spoiler!!!!!! Luffy's gear 5th will be based around SUN WUKONG, the monkey king/God. He will learn his awakening from Scopper (third strongest crew member of Gold D Roger's crew), and gain control over his skin, and the rest of his body

The devil fruit tree origins also mean there is a tree of life based on the fact that there is an Adam, Eve, and knowledge tree. The one piece is a device used to cause a solar eclispe, preventing the tree from absorbing enough sunlight to defeat the immortal rulers of the world government. GOROSEI'S biggest fear one piece

(Theory). (ONE) Drake X will be known as the new "king of the beasts" after kaido is defeated rob lucci will be his right hand man. Drake could possibly even take the yonkou spot after kaido's defeat, and cp9 will have made a good choice in joining forces with drake. (TWO) cp9 has already experienced the power of the straw hats . They know what they're capable of and this is why rob lucci will bet on the straw hats to defeat kaido, which will cause him and cp9 to join their alliance. (THREE) Moriah will also join luffy's alliance. Kaido slaughtered his crew in the past, so moriah will have the opportunity to get revenge

Predictions
1. The straw hat pirates will become the biggest pirate group in the new world
2.black beard wil beat a marine.......
3. Black beard will become the pirate king.....
Maybe he will be the first one to reach Raftel or find one piece

Theory: The strawhats will blow up the red line.

Omg, I'm keeping up with the manga(way better quality than the anime btw), it's amazing, and I've turned at least 3 friends onto it, I highly recommend it. OP literally has every genre but sci fi, western, and pure romance.

As the Dress Rosa ark finally ended. I'm expecting the tenth member to pop up any time now. I can still clearly remember Luffy saying that he was gonna get a crew of ten. I don't want the whole "Sunny is the tenth member" bull honkey. One piece as it kept on going always gave us a new crew member in-between a few arks. And now that the Dress Rosa one is over, and as it was exceedingly long, I expect that crew member to pop up soon enough. Now it isn't Rebecca, most likely isn't that Straw hat fanboy, Sadly isn't Sabo. So I'm putting my money on the fact that it could be Law. He was revealed to be a "D." Like Luffy, and he is portrayed as important and close through out the whole ark. The problem is that he has his own crew. And the fact that Chopper is the already doctor of the ship. I would be really pissed if it wasn't Law. But I can't see how it would work.

I don't really care any more I'm back on my One piece weeb roll.

I honestly think that Jinbei is the tenth member. First of all, we don't have a water member. We have air (Sanji) and land (Zoro/Luffy and pretty much anyone else). I mean, Brook can run on water, but when it comes to fights below the surface, who's going to do that. Zoro did it before, but he can't hold his breath for an indefinite amount of time. In the Fishman island arc, Luffy said that once he becomes stronger than him (which he is by now), he was going to have Jinbei join his crew. If that's the case, we're probably not going to have the tenth member in the near future. Jinbei might not show up for a long while.

It's a far-stretched theory that the Sunny is the tenth member. Whoever thought that..well, each to his own.

I wouldn't think it's be Law because, as you mentioned, he has his won crew, and we already have a doctor on board.
