I used to be a competitive swimmer, I loved it and did it 4-5 times a week...then I lost motivation and quit. It was good while it lasted~
Still got some medals and trophies somewhere.

Haha so if you like swimming check out the new anime that's out it's called Free! I don't compete in tournaments though I do freestyle. I also honestly love swimming as I would always cold water makes me feel like I'm free and hot water when I take a hot bath calms me down as its relaxing and peaceful. I LOVE WATER I LOVE SWIMMING!

Swimming is the best way to relax and collect your thoughts apart from being a great exercise!
I am pretty lazy so I need a friend at the pool with me, but after 2-3 months I was able to swim for 1-2 hours straight (I've been out of shape for a year).

I'm a retired competitive swimmer, entering my last competitive meet next week, a 'fun' meet for the local high schools. I was never really fast, but I've been really close to national age group standards (within 1.5s!) and I've qualified and placed several times in provincial championships.
My best event was the 100m breaststroke, if you're interested.
