Is it ok to look up to an anime character and let it influence myself? Being realistic yes, but also replicate values that is potray in such characters. So is it ok? Or is it bad?

Having a fictional role model is one thing. Just don't forget to have your own identity.

That depends entirely on the character you are looking up to and letting influence you. Who you choose determines if it is good or bad. For example, choosing Akihiko Kayaba from SAO as a role model would be a bad idea. But choosing someone like Mikado from Durarara is a good idea, because he is a good person.

I personally model myself off anime characters as well, at times. I take the best parts from a bunch to make my personal identity.

Influenced by anime characters are fine, in fact without effort, you are already influenced.

But as much as possible, be realistic with who you are and how your life is, and focus consiously on it.

You don't want to live a fake life, trust me.
