hmm, well ive got a bot of an art block rn with exams coming up, my house is in a mess because of construction, i have failing grades, still waiting on a college reply. So many things

Take some time to release stress, exercise, go camping, or something else that helps you release stress, and stop dwelling on difficulties for a bit so as to not feel as bad about them. Try hard to bring your grades back up, but remember, grades don't define you. Study for your exams, but don't stress about them, stressing usually only makes it worse. Most of this is easier said than done, I totally get that, but if you can do it you'll be better off.

What do you mean by art block? Is that like writer's block but with art? Cause if so, I feel you there, I get that a lot. But the inspiration eventually gets back to me. And exams are exams, you do great on some, not so great on others. Construction's a bitch, I'm not sugarcoating that. Though what kind of construction is it? Just curious. Grades at this point of the year won't be able to be brought back up much, but eh, happens. Colleges get back to you. Literally those admissions staff members work around the clock more than you can imagine. That's all I got. Hope life gets better buddy.

Don't worry about the colleges, they will get back to you soon, there are just tons of people in the same boat as you who have to get replies as well. The WORST that could happen is that you take a gap year and get some more experience!
We had our kitchen done a few months back.... such a pain! Dust everywhere! It was pretty worth it as the kitchen is great now but still...

As an design student myself art blocks are part and parcel of an artist's life ;)
Take some time to relax, a stroll in the park, an afternoon in the library, or hang out with some friends. Inspiration will come to u naturally in the weirdest of ways, but u need to be patient :)
I like to think that ideas are like cookies in a BIG bag, where each person can take one out. Some cookies taste better than the others, but all hv the same chance of getting that tastier cookie. That's how ideas work~
