Last December 2015 my Mom left us so that she could live her life as "single" so now me and my sisters are left in the house. My Dad has another family already. They broke up when I was 7 years old.. I just want to ask if is it really alright to hate my mom & feel neglected because she abandoned us? I really felt bad about myself hating her but i just cant forget the fact that she made us feel like she don't want us to be part of her life.

It's your decision if you want to hate her or not. I don't know what you gain if you hater her. Just think about it yourself.

There's no justification for emotions. It's not something you can control.

I don't think it's wrong for you to hate her, if that's how you feel right now. In time, you'll see how your feelings towards her change. But don't let your hate for her ruin your life more than she already did. Even if you don't forgive or love her anymore, at least try to move on and work for your future so you can create that happy family for yourself and your sister.

And if you are under 18, both you and your sister, then you can take legal action as NZPIEFACE (>>4) said.

You can repress / surpress / numb emotions (open for debate, coz it always bites you in the ass), but you can't control the feelings underlying those emotions.

I guess, my mom just left an emotional scar on me for not staying with us (because filipinos are very family oriented people). Im looking forward to the time I can talk to her again without hatred. Someday.
