Ah screw it. I'll take part against my better judgment.
1. It's is a double edged sword, inspiring one to do better with their life or instilling a deep rage in one's psyche. Or perhaps giving someone something to do while labeling them in the worst way possible. I can go on forever. Good hobby, bad obsession.
2. If I had to choose, Kara no Kyoukai. There are very few that even come close to the depth of story, characters and plot, while having one of the greatest OSTs to ever be composed by Yuki Kajiura. I'd like to give props to anything Nasuverse related, but the original Fate/Stay Night, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, Fate/Kaleid Liner, Carnival Phantasm and Unlimited Blade Works all fall short, sometimes being really bad. Fate/Zero is also on the same level as KnK but KnK earns my vote. Hopefully, Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel will live up to the prestige of Fate/Zero and KnK.
>>2, Your taste in favorites awards you my Seal of Approval.
3. I try for the sake of keeping the phonetics smooth and just because I can.
4. I've learned quite a bit, I think, but nowhere near what I would need to actually hold my own in a conversation.
5. It's a toss up between Kiritsugu Emiya and Ryougi Shiki. I have a strong affinity with strong female leads because they are so rare. It's hard to choose between them because they are both so moving and possess such an amazing depth of character on top of being extremely strong both in technique and willpower.
6. Very little. Watching anime is just a hobby for me, a time killer. It has allowed me to have a little more interest in Japanese culture as well as learning about various Asian related things but that is only a slight change, as I have always been that way. I recognize that anime is just one of the many 'windows' and if I really want to be serious, I need to dive into other subjects. I always tell people, I would much rather read something than watch it. In one way, anime has had a rather significant impact on my life. Namely, being a critic. I have honed my analytical skills by tearing apart both bad and good anime. However, on the reverse side, I have had to endure people's shit taste and surpass countless rage sessions. All for the better, I suppose.
