So, my brother-in-law is at boot camp for the marines, and he's really stressed out right now. He's been asking for letters, and I'm going to send some. He really likes funny things, and he needs a stress-reliever, so could anybody lend a hand in giving me funny quotes and jokes? I think he'd really appreciate it.
First of all I would like to say that I have a lot of respect for your brother. The marines are tough, but our country needs people like your brother. If he's getting stressed out by his drill sergeant's yelling at him, tell him to say smart ass funny things in his head. This is a coping skill i've developed to help prevent me from losing my temper. I always say in my head stuff like" everyones got an asshole, and your the only one who doesn't want to admit theirs smells like shit"

I wish him the best, but for the most part i doubt he will like it. my friend has been in the marines for about 4years now and he hates it. its nothing like the recruiters(they lie regardless just to fill their worthless pockets) said and he is not going to sign back up after he is done.
