Point 1 is entirely true. You shouldn't dwell on someone that is already with someone else - that's just unhealthy. It's taught somewhere that you aren't supposed to envy thy neighbor, it's just a dick move in general.
Point 2 is also true, unless you're just some sort of god-like being made of pheromones that attracts all the ladies without provocation. Or unless you're lucky. And you probably aren't either - rather, you shouldn't
assume you're either.
Point 3 would be the most negative, but also most realistic point. You can't say you're in love with someone if you barely know them. "Liking the way she smiles" and feeling your heart "flutter" when you're nearby them is a natural response to being infatuated with someone, but it's far from being in love. You should get to know them better first, as a person, instead of tagging them as an object of your affection.
