Please do not be mean to me if I got the Thread wrong. All I know is this is my first time on this website and I have a lot of stuff to say. First of all my dad has abused me since I was born :( he chokes me and threw me at a glass dresser. So what I do is I cut myself. My parents don't know about it and if they did I am sure they would kill me. I need help. I need help of how to stop myself before I do suicide

Have you tried talking to a friend or a school councilor? Better yet maybe you should tell Child Protection Services about this. If you're dad is abusing you then you shouldn't put up with it. No one deserves that kind of treatment from a parent.

do you have any other family you can stay with? because if you dad is abusing you its best to get some help from friends or family. You dad should be understanding, loving and, caring no one deserves to be treated that way. You still have your whole life ahead of you and, we're all here for you.

Ever heard of the story "a child called it" he had his happy ending by taking responsibilty and talking to others about his problems don't let yourself suffer from child abuse.If he's been abusing you since birth then he's no better than the mother from the story a child called it.

Move somewhere else.
If you can move in with relatives-do it.
if you can't,
Move in with a friend.They'll understand.
If you can't,
Go to an orphanage.
You can't stay there. It doesn't matter where you go-you just need to get away from him.
It's going to be hard-I know. But remember, pressure makes diamonds.

I agree with rolling girl (#6) you should leave but if you cant just try to go to a friends house everyday or something. And its not worth it to cut yourself, your in enough pain already so it dosnt make sense to cut yourself. And remember there is always someone in your life who cares about you weather you know it or not. And all these wonderful Dollars members seem to care about you and you dont know them, so people do care about you! So just try and stay a happy positive person, and listen to rolling girl!!!!!!!

My area has an emergency/woman's shelter for situations like this. They can arrange for help and direct you to resources, not always running away. I volunteer at the local chapter and see cases that sound like this all the time, so I imagine the staff will know what to do.

Try contacting Avalon, they are a women's and children's shelter that hides its location from everyone. No one will be able to find you there because they won't know where it is.

The only people who know the location besides staff/residents are volunteers like me, and once we figure out the location, we sign 3 pages of papers promisong not to give it out
