If you just think about this for a while, you'll realize this thread will not work the way it's supposed to. There have been countless thread like this made by new member of their era before. It would get bumped down, and someone would make a new one. The closest thing we could apply this kind of thing was the Going to be gone?: Status Update thread. And of course, it failed in a similar way. People would eventually forgot to visit BBS and never update their status anymore.

To put it simply, there is no accurate way to find how much people is still using the site. Heck, even some people didn't bother to check other boards than Random.

So Sage this, or what?

I think if we were to create an active chatting group, it might be easier to tell who's active. If we had an email group or something. Then we could keep updated just in that group, and it would be more like a group chat. Maybe something to think about?

If this post gets too long, and there are replies three years from now, yes that would defeat the point. I'm only looking at the recent replies, of course.

I came here specifically because of the Corona virus outbreak. I want to help out people in this time of need.

I want to be more active to! I missed this place.

I do like the idea of this but this is too broad. Shouldn't we be more specific when it comes to activeness? Like how long are you gonna be active? When did you start being active?

Okie guys sorry, I know I didn't think this post through completely, I just wanted to see How many people are still here, I guess from any time to how active they are. It is a bit broad though, so I apologize for being broad :). I guess the people I'm talking about are the people who lurk around a lot but don't post very often. Well, all the replies are useful to me, and I only returned to being more active a few months ago so I haven't exactly come across posts like mine. This post will get buried in a while, so all the replies three months from when I made the original post are the ones I will account for. three months isn't too long so I think that people who don't come here too often will also get a chance to reply.
