Scrolled through the old posts and noticed that people were still replying to my old text group thread even recently.
Back story : I helped organize a bunch of massive Texting chatrooms with hundreds of Dollars members all over the world. It was super fun but many chats became spam rooms and only a few were active regulars. After maintaining the rooms for quite some time I no longer had the free time to work on it. Many others worked on other text groups or email groups after.
Not sure if any of the old chat gang is still around from the groupme early days with me. Not even sure those old chats still exist.
Just wanted to check in and let people know the old texting groups may no longer exist to my knowledge and no, I haven't added anyone in a long long time. Sorry about that.
Glad to see the BBS is looking more active these days. Who knows... Maybe I'll start up one more text group...
