As usual, you tell why you joined, and why you stayed.(Basically, title says it all.)

I'll give my reason why I joined and stayed.(the fact my 1st time posting on part 1 was a little bit unorganized of me...)

I joined because I was curious. I watched Drrr! until it ended. So for some reason I decide to search for Dollars. I find this site. So I thought to myself that maybe I can do something on here.(PFFFFT)

After I've been on the site for a while, dealing with a whole bunch of new/fanfags. I really expected myself to just leave this because of them. Well, I made friends with some (old)members and it caused me to stay.(Ravana, Handle, Chreggome, astin, Barabu, etc, <3) Basically, I found my time here better when I got used to this since I joined(Near ending 2010-2011ish).

So, what made you join and stay? Or you can just say about one.

I joined because I was a fun of drrr
I stayed because I became a fan of the people in the drrrchat community

I first wanted to join because i liked the show drrr, but I do like the idea of an online gang that is different from the gangs we see on TV. Instead of a gang that causes trouble and violence, we could do more good in the world, even just by doing simple tasks to help other people.

I just typed in dollars from drrr. I didn't think it would actually exist. I'm staying here because I also want to make a difference in the world.

I joined this site first before I watched the anime. A friend of mine told me to try it, since she found it after watching DRRR. I saw the page and the threads, which prompted me to read the manga~ Then I stayed cause Dollars still gives my life a little flavor~ Teehee.

I loved durarara so I just googled Dollars.. Imagine my surprise when I actually found this site.. really happy to have found it. :)

Well, I got to much time and decided to search for Dollars on the internet after rewatching drrr, didn't think it actually exist. I stayed because I want to make the world a better place for everyone, to meet different people, and to be able to tell everyone even though we're from different parts of the world we can still get along.

I just realized I never posted why I joined, which is a bit strange since I thought I've posted it somewhere before. Maybe it was just to my friends, but I dunno. I'm here to talk about it now.

I joined, about three years ago, somewhere in August of 2011, because I had just started to watch DRRR! and was talking to some random guy on TinierMe about it, and he gave me a link to it over private message. And this was before I had even gotten to the whole site thing, (I only had watched like two or three episode) I had a bit of a grasp on it, but not much.

I was never much into roleplaying, so I never did that on here, I mainly joined just to talk to others around the world without a risk, like how it is on facebook, but I always was too shy. I'd post on boards every once in a while, but I wasn't a hotshot like some of the old members from my time.

It wasn't until sometime in December when BarabiSama posted some thread, which I can't remember the name of, that I made my first friends on here, neither of which I talk to anymore, but they still helped me tons. NaeBree and Nomura, I started talking to Barabi too, but not much.

Nae introduced me to my friend reilyx, who I keep in touch with every once in a while, and that sent my spiraling into my group of BBS friends that I have now (Handle, astin, reilyx, Hatash, Haru, Yukio, Tsubaki, Chreggome, Sleepology, Yatahaze, BarabiSama, HAM, Solace, and I'm missing some but I love you all even if I can't remember everyone. <3).

I was so surprised and when I first entered this site of course I first went to the chat rooms. After a while I took a long break and ended up coming back. I love meeting new people in the chats so when I figured out about rping I started loving being a dollars even more

I actually found this when someone posted the link on a facebook role playing group page I was in. I am obsessed with Izaya Orihara so I jumped at the chance to join the Dollars. I stayed really just because I'm curious though I don't consider myself a active member and really just stay on the chat sites to RP

I joined because I thought it'd be more interesting and entertaining to be part of something (after I finished Drrr!! of course), and I thought it was fun to be part of an anonymous group. Chatting with new people on the site is fun and experiencing to me also.

But most of all, I stayed here because of the people I met on here.

I found some accounts on instagram that have a post of the official website and I researched it on google and I found out that the password is Baccano. i joined the dollars cos the people here are fun!

I Joined because I loved the first season of Durarara. The name is so hard to write aswell. I didn't even know this site existed

I was following some instagram accounts when one of them posted a pic of The Dollars homepage and I was curious about it because I loved Durarara season 1 so I went and I found out the password and voila!! It's still a surprise for me even toll today.

I joined the Dollars cos there are so many people to talk to, so many problems to solve, so many topics to talk about...juts so much stuff in one website full of good people

Because when i feel sad most members cheer me up...

i like being able to help people whither i know them or not

I found this site like most everyone here, I was curious after watching DRRR!!! As to whether or not the Dollars were actually a thing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were.

What I do I wouldn't call "staying" per se, since I only log on when I think to do it, but the reason I always log back on is the people. This community is exclusively inclusive, and that's what I love about it. Everyone here is very kind.

I imagine hardly anybody is going to read this, but my reason for staying is that I was shocked with what I saw. Honestly I just expected a bunch of hardcore anime otaku that only talked about Drrr! and how cool they are to be apart of this, but then I found the threads on mission and realized that some of these people are really trying to improve the world. Even though this is based off of an anime, I wish that people wouldn't reference this from the anime and just let this site be known as an organization that is truly trying to help the world or a community.

I stumbled upon this site by pure chance, didn't know about the show, didn't know about the manga. But it was the first time I had ever seen a site like this, plain and simple, with a password. So thought I'd look into it. Finding the password wasn't hard, it's all over the place.
I stayed because of the potential good this group can do. Right now, it's really fulfilling its name, dara-dara (which means procrastinating/lazy) but if it were a bit more organised, less about recruiting new people but rather, getting local groups to actually do something without posting logos everywhere ... but I digress. It's a cool site, I'm looking forward to meeting new people, and starting my own missions etc etc

Well I don't really know why am I attracted to this site but it's really awesome.. I always have a gloomy life but when I did met some random people at the chat... like, wow feels like we've known each other for a month though it's only a week... It makes me want to stay here.. Forever..

Well.. i really love the anime.. and then i suddenly found this site .. this site really is exciting ..

Well I loved the anime and one of my friends showed me this and I was really exited and it made me feel like a part of the story ^^ WE have already done a few missions here as well

really i don't know exactly why i joined the dollars, may be because i like the anime, but i think because entering in this "group" finally makes me feel part of something, i'm a very strange boy i know, but it is so, even though it can be a simple forum, a simple website on the internet that takes its cue from an anime, confront new people makes me feel part of something. I suppose I joined the Dollars because of the anime, but then I saw the things that the Dollars did, and what this is all about, and I realized I kinda already do this in my everyday life, so why not see what kinda of things other people do, get some inspiration and also share my own ideas, as helping others is something that I enjoy and I wanna see people around the world smiling no matter who they are.

I found out about this site, after watching DRRR!! For the second time. Instantly I felt like a part of the story, and the Dollars. I started doing good, and helping others out, of course in the name of the Dollars. I was happy to have found a place where I felt a strong sense of belonging. I've never felt more comfortable than I do now. :)

I came for similar reasons as everyone else, being that I'm a fan of the show. (And one day, I shall read the light novels. Probably tonight.) Anyway, and I'm staying out of curiosity.

Honestly, I was browsing TVTropes and found a link to this site. I thought is looked pretty cool, and I decided then to join up and hopefully have fun chatting with people and giving good advice. After a week, I'm still coming back, I think this community rocks!

I found this because of Durarara!! a couple years ago and lurked a while, then got bored and left. Then I came back because of the season 2 announcement, lurked, and so far I'm still here :)

I joined about 2 weeks ago because of the show. Like "Hell Girl" some anime/shows have websites and I was reallllly interesting if Durara had a concept website [here]. I like it so far, I haven't had a thread yet or a conversation, though I do want to, I'm not very committed to a site.

I joined the Dollars because I wanted to do something in my life that gave me a thrill. Well, I then got too much "thrill," after I joined the Dollars, well, not because I joined the Dollars. So, I guess I stayed because its the only thing I am committed to (well, besides finishing Drrr!!).

i joined because i liked the reasoning behind The Dollars in the anime. it was to anonymously help people and do good things. there's not a lot of good in the world anymore so to have a community like this one is a great idea. Drrr! was a very good anime i loved it. Seeing how a few main characters kept in touch and talked about Ikeburo seemed fun. plus you cant find a lot of good chat rooms anymore with fun people.

i wanted to leave because one someone took my original name which made me bit mad towards how unoriginal people are but also th fact that people use th chat as a roleplay room or a kind of sex hook up. it's dumb and there are other websites you can put yourself out on. it's pitiful but you know what? i made some good friends on here that make it worth it and fun. friends who also accept the jerk i can be ;) ... so i will forever be a Dollars member and i hope the site will take a good turn for the better and well lose a lot of those horn dogs and role players.

When I found the site i thought it was just another fan site but now i know that this is real. i wanted to be part of something bigger than myself and whenever i feel like the world is falling apart i come back here and see that there is some good left

An escape from reality.

I joined for the idea. just like with show you never know who is in and what they really do. It gives me a feeling of being in something bigger. , and man does it feel good to be back.

To maybe meet new people that have the same interests that I have, and sage has a good point, it to escape from reality. And it feels good to be part of something bigger

I joined this place because of the manga. Having been a huge fan of Drr! since readig the graphic novel, then seeig the anime adaptation and manga form of it, I decided to go out and see if there was anyone else as crazy as me in the world who wanted the Dollars to exist. And it did much to my surprise.

The whole aspect of Drr! has gotten me through some of the hardest times.in my life; it's made me stop and think about how precious life is, how to accept myself for who I am and how your life intertwines with more than just one person. How how a kind word or a deed can affect someone more than you think, and how to stop and believe that you can change your future even if your past is a bit rough. Hell, I love the show so much I even have quotes from it tattooed on my body.

I joined because I saw this site on the show and decided to google it. then I saw had a purpose and wasn't just some fan site for talking solely about drr- I love the series, don't get me wrong! but I love the fact that this site has a good community and a purpose even more :)

oddly enough, I found this place first, then I was introduced to "DRRR!!" Now I come back every now and then, to see what's happenin'.

I joined the Dollars to see what's going on, and to see what I could do; like the missions and such.

I'm here because I love to help people, it also helps that i'm in the Military as a PJ, i saw this group and said "This could be when i'm not on duty, small things help the world, right?" I hope i will have the time to do my part.

Like a lot of people on here, I saw DRRR!!, and then I heard that there was an actual Dollars site. So I decided to check it out, just to see what it would be like, and it turns out it's a pretty good site.

It's even the same for me, I watched DRRR!! a few times, and thought I'd look to see if the chat room/website was actually a real thing. First I got the chatroom app downloaded on my computer, then someone told me about it--or mostly how it was an real website. I pretty much like how the chatroom is almost like the show, except for the private mode part.

I was told about the site and then found out it was from Durarara and I just loved it even more. I love the idea of it :D I'm only on here and there but it's always great to get on and chat with people and look at all the neat threads :)

I joined because someone on wattpad mentioned the site, and I wanted to check it out. Ive heard of it before though, but never got around to it. When I found it, I thought that it as well as the people were interesting. I always had the idea that chat rooms type websites had tons of people with bad grammar chatting and trolling, but here its user friendly, the right comments go into the right threads, and most of us watch anime or have some other passion to chat about.

Watched Drrr awhile ago, and recommended it to a friend recently. Today he showed me this site so here I am! Staying because lets face it, this is way too cool.

The reason I joined is because I wanted to make a difference in the World. I mean we can do much more then just talking. In some forum's within the Dollar's we have made a difference in the world which makes me happy and it should make you happy.

I joined because I was curious- to be frank...Why I stayed? It can be interesting. I'm not here 24/7, but when I do check out the site I usually get to see people discussing interesting topics. It makes me....happy..to see people share what they think- and in turn become more open minded after reading the thoughts of others. From staying here I've learned to be appreciative of other peoples opinions, and to see things from a new perspective- which to me is proof that staying here was a good idea.

Because The Dollars are hella rad jyeeaahhh. Well I knew drrr but didnt expect the dollars existed irl. But then my cousin told me about this whole thing. And I decided to stay just because.

I came to the site due to standard reasons, I suspect. The idea put forth in the anime was interesting and I really wanted something like it to exist. The surprise I had when I came across the site back in the fledgling days was great, but I never expected it to take off. Looked like another fansite with a neat format just like in the manga/anime. I'm in North America and a Japanese friend of mine told me about this new show airing and to check it out. So that's why I'm a Dollar.
Why I stayed; The site, the group, everyone here turned out to be more than just fans of the show but also generally like-minded and happened to believe in the cause of the group or something like it. Helping others, and coming together to make something better.
I'm here because of us all, and the potential collected here.

To be honest, I found this place by complete accident. I was looking up stuff for a cosplay and this organisation was mentioned. I didn't believe it at first but you could not believe how happy I was that it was real. That there were people out there who genuinely wanted to make a difference. So I joined and I think I'll stay. I suppose that I also wanted to stay because I was hoping that the Dollars may one day be like the one in DRRR: a colorless gang that helps instead of using violence. So far, I haven't done much. I want to help instead of doing nothing. My life is pretty dull, and I wanted some sort of excitement like the one Mikado got when he created the website and moved to Ikebukuro. Why I joined?

I rewatched Durarara! this year after knowing there was a second season being produced and wondered if someone had created a Dollars website like the one shown in the anime. I found this page, obviously I knew the password from the show, and I liked what I saw so I decided to join.

Why I stayed (and going to stay hopefully)?

First of all, I like the non-commitment aura of the site. I hate forums where you have to be constantly active or they erase your account. So for me is a nice, anonymous place where to spend some time, help others, chat and learn.
The last, but not least, reason is because I want to do something good as a Dollars member (like in the show) and share it with others.

So I share the same feelings and drice as Psycha (>>320).

In all honesty, I joined because someone stuff a card in my locker and it had THE password written on it. It took me a while to figure out what the password was for. Before then I had no idea what DRRR! was and I rarely watched anime or anything related to it.
As to why I stayed, well, I feel kinda special being part of The Dollars. It feels like I'm no longer a single entity in this world. I feel like I'm a part of something bigger than myself. So thank you ... whoever it was who put that password in my locker.

I didn't have an idea that this place existed untill I was invited by an acquintance from a viral radio for japanese music (mostly anime). I always wanted to create something like the Dollars but it seems that someone got the better of me hehe ^u^. Anyway I decided to join because 1. I watched Drrr! and I loved the whole idea behind the Dollars and 2. because I always wanted to do something good for others but I didn't have enough motivation or a simple idea of what to do and the Dollars provide me with both. I had heard of DRRR before but I actually only started it after I finished Baccano so all the Baccano references were pretty amusing for me. Even moreso when I found that the password to Dollars was "baccano"

which led me to look for a dollars site just so I could type that in and see it work. I didn't know this site existed. It looks really cool

hmmm let's see. It all started 5 years ago during the original run of the 1st season of the show. I was somewhat of a fanfag after watching a few episodes and really wanted to be part of real life "Dollars" crew. After searching the internet I found a site other than this one (there are like a bunch, but found one I liked the most). It was brand new and after days of contributing to it I ended up being invited to being an admin to the site, where I continued to babble and preach about how we can change our communities by doing good deeds or "missions".

Then I got bored and left. I tried coming back recently, but apparently the site withered away and no longer running. Wanting to return to a DOLLARS community I ended up finding this place on reddit yesterday. Maybe I'll stay long, maybe I won't. I'm actually really liking the whole anonymous feeling I get since I don't have to register so I'll probably stick around for awhile. That's about it. It's uninteresting story but that's how I ended up joining.

well its kind of strange story to tell but I watched DRRR! in 2011 and loved it and how it was like multiple stories in one show and how each character and their side of the story merged with each other. so with that being said one day I just looked up this site and watched that part in episode six of the first season when KYOHEI KODATA (DOTACHIN) put the password in his phone and realized what it said so yeh. the reason why I stayed was because I felt like it was a good way to pass time and socialize and now that DRRR!x2 is here im definitely staying

I joined just for fun, left the group I have been with for almost 3 years so I needed something else to occupy my time

I have joined to talk and be in a group that does good and that why I decided to join

I joined this group to try to do something good, to meet people with the same interest as mine, and finally to be part of something else than my town's festival committee. I think that the Dollars can fulfill my expectations, that's all.

Well i joined the dollars because when i was watching drrr!! The fact that a group of normal people could do huge things was incredible!!! And because is one step closer to get to that reality so... Is pretty much amazement and one way to fell in the fandom i guess! :3

I was watching DRRR! and said "Huh, that'd be cool in real life." Then I found this site and went "What the hell? Why not?" and that's how I became a Dollar.

I thought it would be cool to be part of something which I thought was un-real. Besides, who knows? There could be an actual Izaya and Shizuo <3

I joined because of Durarara and I stayed because I like meeting new people and I thought I can do the missions that are on here and do some real good. I also stayed because I think the Dollars are a good organization that I wanted to be a part of.

actually, this is where i discovered DRRR. a friend gave me the link, told me the password, and it grew from there.

First, because I'm seeing Durarara obviously, and second, I like the idea of a invisible group where the people chat and helps others, and the Dollars, like Kyandisu said, is a good organization that I wanted to be a part.

II joined on recommendation from a friend who shared the common interest of Durarara with me.
I thought the idea of having a transparent kind of group was really cool, and nobody looks down on each other on here and they're all quite friendly.
I stayed because it's an opportunity to make the world a better place and talk about things that matter to me with people that feel the same way.

I joined first off because of Durarara. Secondly it feels nice being part of an anonymous group thats sole goal is to help people. Lastly I really enjoy meeting new people on this site who are also part of this weirdly awesome group.

I was planning to watch 2ep of season 2 (Durarara of course) and I scrolled to view the comments. The top one was the name of this site. That's how I got here.
I stayed because there are a lot of good people here and I like the idea and the things people are trying to achieve here. And it's Dollars in the real life, man, who wouldn't like to stay here? :D

Like everyone else im here because of the show, the reason i stayed is because i love the community on here.

My reasons is pretty much like everyone else. I found this website because of the show and I stayed because I like all of the features on the website and I also like the community on here. And I agree with DarkStar: it makes the show feel real.

I was looking for an iPod wallpaper after finishing the first season when I somehow stumbled upon this site. Because I have yet to make myself acquainted with the community, I'd say that I'm still here because of the charm of the site: a BBS that I can access anytime, anywhere; the feeling of being part of an exclusive group due to the usage of a secret password; and the design of the site, which is really easy on the eyes.
This is how the Dollars was meant to be. Not a flag that troublemakers rally behind, but a community where everyone is welcome into.

My reasons to enter the Dollars was firstly because I was a fan of Durarara and when I saw this site exactly like in the anime I was like *WOW that's awsome!*. Secondly, after being a member of the Dollars I checked the threads and everything was really interesting,fun,etc. Also the fact that everyone can right their opinion about any subjet is something really great! Finaly, the community, when I entered the Dollars, you guys accepted me instantly and you were so cool to me and because of that thank you! ( sorry for my English )

I honestly expected it to be all fanfags/RPers, and would have left if so, but it turns out that there are some people who aren't like that. So for now, I'm mainly an observer (will comment a here and there). I wanna see if this group whether this group will become a group born from the show's influence, or if it will turn into a fanfag/RP site. I really hope that the latter does not happen. If the former happens, I may observe less, and become more active, but if the latter happens, I'll probably leave.

Well I have been roaming around the website for a couple of years (kind of since 2011) but never really posted here, I joined in because I wanted to see how awsome the Durarara community is (since all my otaku friends for some reason never watched durarara, and I stayed because I really loved the community, how everyone is so nice (usually), but I never really posted anything :P I just stalked a bunch of threads XD

Because my real group is practically nameless, shady, and has a strict code of secrecy. Containing members that don't know much about each other but have a strong devotion to whatever the current goal is. We might as well become one with a network that is practically us, but with a ton of more people.... Oh, and we watched Durarara and x2 Shou. Waiting for that Season 3. lol

Um ... I think it 's because I was curious .... But it's also because I found it very interesting and a very funny concepte at a time, to know the poins of seen of another people and learn has the know with respect to such a quote ... That's something singular. ^^

I'm a fan of the show and wanted to see if this actually existed, so of course I joined when I found out it was real (I felt like a complete fanboy typing in the password!) and I stayed because it's such a cool concept - the idea of an online gang/community that people of different ages and backgrounds from all across the world can be a part of without feeling discriminated against because it's basically anonymous. And the fact that this is one of those awesome fiction-turned-reality things is also pretty sweet.
Plus, now I can say I have street cred without having to wave a knife around in the air like i'm gonna perform some sort of magic trick :)

I suppose I joined the Dollars for a couple of reasons. I'm a fan o Durarara!!, and when I learned of this website's existence, joining was a necessity. I love the way the Dollars are used in the story. Both as a means of exposition and plot device. I'm also fascinated by what they represent.

Why I stayed is an easier question. I love this community and the people in it. Here, we are able to understand and help each other, which is something hard to achieve. There is always something interesting to do and see in the Dollars, and always someone to talk to. Even though we are all so distant from each other, this place allows us to connect, talk, laugh, and even cry together. That's why I'm here right now. I joined the dollars at first because i thought DRRR was awesome, but then i started to think about the theory behind the Dollars and thought that it was a great concept so i decided to stay

I LOVED the anime Durarara!! or DRRR!!, it was a very diverse and creative anime. Once I found they had the actual site made, I FREAKED out and joined. I have only really ever done one mission. That was the 'Dollar Pockets' mission. I've stayed because it's fun to come back to once in a while and say hey how you doin' let me whisper in you're ear-- I mean *cough*. Anyway, I love the talks people have and how anyone is welcomed! Plus the site looks dangerous, so pulling it up during school is fun!

Why did I join the dollars? Simple I saw a community of people that I believe can do some good that could take this idea from an anime and make it into something good a reality I want to see the dollars grow in to a society that people recognize I want to see events hosted by the dollars us helping those in need t shirts for members the whole bit and that's why I'm still a member.

I want to be noticed. I'm lonely irl in fact.. Things aren't working out. The only place I can feel more like myself is online and most importantly; here. There's jerks here somewhat, but many more nice people. I may be anti social irl, but here.. I'm outgoing and that's the me I wanna be. I'm here to be the real me and be strong if I can't do it irl.

You stayed from a fandom? ha, you don't understand. It may be from an anime, but its real. Around the world there a real members of dollars.. but you only see it as people being 'fanfags' you wouldn't even know.

I joined: after watching the anime I wondered if it as real, when I found out it was I decided to spice up my life a bit.

Why I stayed: 4chan is blocked on the school wifi and this place is more civilized. Not many other forums websites.

I'm new here , but the reason I joined is because I really liked the series. And so I thought maybe there'll be interesting people here.

I imagine most people joined because the thought of the dollars being an actual thing is exciting because that's my reason. However, I'm staying because the community is nice, and respectful. Not to mention there seems to be a rather diverse amount of people on the boards, as well as the GroupMe chat.

Why Did I join. Well I would say because I wanted to make a change. I looked for the dollars and wanted to be one its true but hey, to be honest I am just here. If you "Dollars" are like the real ones, Then I'll push to treat you all with respect and help you.

A friend rec me that anime b/c I kinda ask for a interesting anime that can help me connect with people. I went shocked seeing this page exist and fell in love with it. The trolls never bother me enough to phase me b/c I read/seen such interesting stuff here I stayed to keep going at it. I joined in 2013 Spring. I thank my friend and hope she's doing well. She oddly went quiet for awhile but she have a personality disorder/bipolar/axiety and told me at least she been getting rest ever since her breakdown. All she have to know I'm still her good friend.

They didn't have a leader they where help accountable for what they as a person did. I have been through and seen some horrible and terrible things. When this website came around and I having a super rough time kinda,found that I didn't need to have money or be this super kind person to help my community I just had to take on the small missions and I've done that. I take pride in being a member of this community and while I don't openly share that with the world if you asked me if I was a member I would hold my head high and say yes. Can't really say I stayed, since I stopped coming to this site for a long time and only recently started wondering if it was still up and whether people were still actively using it. I joined about a month after finishing drrr! I was on my moms desktop doing homework (laptop was being fixed), and I got distracted and started looking up drrr! stuff. I happened to stumble on this site but was disappointed when I saw it needed a password. So I goggled the password, looked around the site, and joined the dollars. I stayed because I really enjoy the community and the variety of people on here and it really gives me a sense of belonging. This is my safe place.

HM...I guess I'd have to say the reason I'd joined was because I wanted to meet new people and have fun in a sense. Also because I had found this site by chance and that I was curious a bit as well. I mean, my mind was like, "Now wait a minute, is this the same as the anime? Is it actually bad?" and then I did some research and found the password and saw that this is pretty chill and great group of people (so far at least, I just joined yesterday ^^). Like many members I joined after knowing DRRR anime. One day I was thinking ''if the dollars existed it would be very great! A gang with no rules no colours with members in the entire world, like in the anime, who would delivered good messages or do things to help people through the world.'' And then I searched. In the app DOLLARS which is a chat, some people talked about dollars and ask if it maybe could be Dollars member in real life. I made other research on it and then.. Finally I saw a password in commentar on a website ''Baccano''. Because of it I found the site. I was sooooo happy! And now I'm here 😃
Well.. Why am I still there? It's because I want to make little things, little missions to bring some kinds things to help the people. Honestly I don't think that we can Change The World.. Here I joined the kik group (long time ago) and there I made new friends. So I kept doing little missions and helping as I could. When I joined, I had in mind that I wanted to be part of something and help others too. Making difference without showing myself. Last year I didn't show up here at all and forgot about the website(sadly)... But last month I was missing something like... I don't know how to explain, but It was like I was missing a "place" to be part of and I wanted to do something different. I found dollars website again just like that xD I still remembered the password (I was really happy when I logged in xD)and now I'm here. I found what I was looking for and more things that I can do.

I watched Drrr! thinking I wouldn’t really be interested in it, but I ended up loving the show making it my favorite. I wanted to find out if the Dollars website actually existed, when I found out it did I immediately declared myself a member of the Dollars.

I joined because of the shows, but I stayed because of the idea of it; the concept of an organization of everyday people, not just in a city, but around the world, helping each other out. Let's be honest here, that's so cool, especially in reality.

I joined to be a part of something bigger, I know it's cliche and cheesy and what not. I haven't been a member for long, maybe a month now, mainly just lurking the site. I like the idea of everyday people anonymously being a part of something bigger.

I joined initially out of boredom, thinking this would cure it. I've not been here long, but I am staying because of the idea and reality of this group. I mean, a group of people who mostly want to make the world a better place? Hell yeah! That's pretty cool and pretty rare in this day and age, and I'm proud to say I'm a part of it!

Hey, names Rook! At least, that's the name i choose to go by. I found out about this group via a message sent to me by a stranger on another Forum {i have since watched Durarara and enjoyed it, i like that its become a reality}, I've been using the site for a while but never really posted stuff like this, gotta at somepoint tho xD
I guess you could say the reason i joined this group, is to help fix problems in my area and still continue to remain annonymous.
I knew of some problems in my area, there was very little that any other organization could do, so i looked here for anyone who could help. I found help, and I've remained on this site communicating with my new associates. We dealt with the problem, tho the Green Hoods are still around.

I joined because i loved Durarara and the idea of being apart of the dollars in real life is incredible. i stayed because it has a lot of information on a wide range of topics and whenever im bored i can see what people all over the world are talking about.

I guess I joined..... well... because I wanted to make friends around the world but also to kinda make my life so boring, nothing really interesting happens so I guess I also wanted something new and interesting to do in my life

I actually have a similar reason as Altries, I just joined today and the reason is because all I do, is work, go home, buy lunch and watch anime. End. That's just boring, and after watching the first season of drrr!! I just felt like.. if I could belong to such a large yet unknown group, and do missions under that name that also may help others, that would be awesome!

Just joined and I just found this site on a whim. I guess my motivation would be looking for something new to do? My life's about as fresh as stale bread right now, and I'd take any distractions to pretend that I'm part of something much bigger. Or chat around with strangers on the internet. Whichever really. I don't know if I'll stay any long, I have a notoriously short attention span, but if it happens, it happens. I guess I'll stick around for a while and see if I get bored or not :p

Aside from loving the anime, it's indeed fun to bepart of something without having to receive nor give orders. It gives us a sense of belonging and existence whilst maintaining anonymousness. There might be people here who joined to spam and cause disruption but I know most people here are the fun ones in the end. x

i'm a huge weeb, so of course i looked this up after watching drrr and i got extremely, extremely happy when i saw it's a real thing! i really loved the concept of dollars in drrr so i'm glad somebody made it into a real thing instead of just a dumb fansite. i don't think i'll stay for a while but i'll enjoy it while it lasts.
