Calling out to my fellow countrymen, I'm really sorry for others who can't understand my language but If you know my language, please give a feedback on my short story:
It was one of the chosen stories to be published at our school's press for a competition. It was originally 4000 words but they shortened it out to 2000 words because it was too long for a short story. The thing is, when I asked about my friends evaluation about the story, he said that it was uninteresting and he said I was trying too hard on creating figurative speeches on my story. I am quite self-conscious about it because I thought I had done a good job writing the story because it was chosen to be published, now my friend is saying that it sucks. He isn't really a reader, nor he is good at writing but still for me to get criticized that much means that to a normal reader it isn't interesting and I hope to improve on that scale. Please give a honest feedback, the one that will stung my heart and makes me wanna die :D. But of course I won't give up that easily. Thanks in advance!
