I'm currently enrolled in a literature and writing class that focuses on personal experience. I felt that this inspired me to create this, where people can write and share something deep and personal in their lives. It can be a poem, a journal entry,a short story, or any other form for that matter. But this thread is meant for talking about the things few people want to talk about in real life. You can vent, read other's works, write about what you are thinking/feeling etc.

In other sense, a comfort zone.

If your life was a canvas, what picture would you paint?
Me, I'd paint a bright blue sky
Clear as day with the sun shining high
The birds will be soaring over mountain tops
The sounds of the river gushing over rocks
My paint will be special - you can hear and sense and smell
All the minuscule details that ink could never tell
My story you will not find by looking with your eyes
But by feeling with your body, your soul and your mind

I hope to become a great artist one day, yet I mean this with all my heart
You do not need a paintbrush to create a work of art
