My year started with my new philosophy teacher asking us to make an essay about a philosophical question. Any we could think about. I thought about this idea and then saw that some people wanted a philosophy section, so why not?

What is a philosophical question? Does not ask for facts, inquires into the meaning of concepts that we usually take for granted or overlook. Makes us take a time out of our everyday preoccupation with the world and makes us reflect about it. Examples: Who am I? Why is there something when there is supposed to be nothing? What do we live for?

What is my idea? To make a group where we could monthly decide on a question and write our thoughts about it, our own conclussions and opinions about it, and share them.
A space to come out of the rutine and take a moment to think on something you might have never asked yourself before.

Any ideas? Please share. This is the first time I post an idea and I don't know if I made it clear.

It's still to discuss which platform/s will be used for the group.

I really like this idea, and would love to participate. I'm not quite sure what platform would be best for this group, a single thread on the BBS wouldn't be structured enough, and a new Board isn't necessary. But past that, I'm not quite sure.

So as for a platform to host this group on, I think something like a secret group on Facebook would work really well. However, I'm not sure that Facebook itself is the best option because people would either have to create accounts soley for this, or use their personal accounts, and I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with either of those options.
However, if everyone thinks Facebook is the best platform to host this on, I might just deal with it. But does anyone know of a website or something that would be similar to a Group on Facebook that I cannot think of?

Please, dear God, not Facebook. I've avoided it this long, I'd like to continue.
Google Plus is fine, I guess. Only if others want that platform, of course.

From the start I was thinking Facebook nor Twitter are good plans. Google+ is a good option. Other opinions I heard are Skype and Wordpress.

Is the natural state of people either Corrupt or Naive?
Is Corruption actually bad?
Would the most Heroic action be to become the Villain?
