During my last year at school the school board banned manga and anime. I was wondering if any other schools banned manga and anime.

Like, bringing Manga/Anime to school?
That's fairly reasonable if they ban other stuff like Comics too.
It's a bad concept either way, but the educational system isn't renowned for being rational.

They only banned manga comic books were still acceptable.

My school has an anime club, cause the Form 4 dean is a japanese teacher......

My school had two anime clubs, but one was crap. And then again we had clubs for all kinds of shit.

Our school may not be all otaku nation or some shit but it hasn't been banned

i live in the uk so practically nobody knows what anime is and the very few teachers that now about actually like it a lot. Except my art teacher, because she dosent like the shading in anime. . .

They haven't at my school, luckily. That must suck for you dude, In sorry :/

My school hasn't necessarily banned anime and manga but they did get rid some of the manga's in the library.
