Slow Regard of Silent Things (4)

The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a short novella by Patrick Rothfuss following the Character Auri from the Kingkiller Chronicles. Auri is a young girl who lives in an enormous underground tunnel system below a University which she calls "The Underthing". What makes this book so peculiar is that the author openly states that "you probably won't like this book." The entire book has only one character, no dialogue, and the closest thing to action in it is eight pages about making soap. However, if you aren't the average reader, love the Kingkiller Chronicles, and want to know more bout Auri, I highly recommend this book.

Sounds interesting. Googled it and saw it got 4.2/5 stars on Goodreads, so maybe I'll try as soon as I get some free time.
Will I need to read the full Kingkiller Chronicles for this book to make sense?

(btw Patrick Rothfuss has a crazy nice beard)

>>2 Pretty much. You know know who she's talking about (she only refers to him as him or he), and you won't know who she is, where she is, or what's going on.

The first 2 books are The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear and I highly recommend them both.
