Hey Dollars :) Honestly, I think this is the right place to put this thread, since I got my story published and it is literature, so please don't be mad if this isn't in the right place. I finished my first story, The City of Silence and it is up for sale, I believe $6...anyways, I'm not really sure where I should promote this, so ideas are welcome XD The City of Silence is only 30,363 words long, it's really short.... Could you help support a new author and spread the word? I would love to write another story...and I honestly have no idea where to share this besides figment, facebook and telling my friends/ family of course. Here's the summary: Sound has long gone extinct. For sixteen years Rayel has lived in total silence, as the people in The City of Silence always have. The red lights on their necks tell them when they can make noise but still they have no voice. There may be hope to bring sound back, as there are rumors of people out there who can still make sounds freely. Noise itself lives within all of those in and outside The City of Silence and only the Leaders stand in the way of reviving it. They even wish to control the minds of the people to create their own perfect world - a world where they rule everything. Rayel must team up with those that still speak, the Screams, in order to save the City and free the voices of the people. But who can she trust when she can no longer trust her own family?
