Before someone mentions it: NO, this is not the same as an idea thread. It's short writing prompts - you throw me a random idea, I transform it into something short and hopefully coherent. Presuming I like that idea in the first place.
I want to see what my fellow Dollars can do. Throw out a short prompt, or try to fill someone else's - there's no limit to how many times a single prompt can be filled, so go crazy.
Please keep it under a thousand words, though. This is to get some writing practice and to exercise your skills, not produce a novel. The point of this is to improve your writing to help you produce such a novel, if you're inclined to do so.

eg. Your favorite character is shipwrecked on a tropical island with their new best friend, a nervous doctor-in-training.
(That's an example please don't do it it's really shitty okay.)

A character of yours is saved from forest monsters by a thief and an irritable unicorn.

BUMPING MY OWN DEAD THREAD LIKE AN IDIOT
Write a group of burly, manly characters having a sleepover. Like, a teenage girl's sleepover, not a cool stakeout or a games night. A sleepover with pillow-fights and chick flicks.

A forgotten island in the ocean is in fact the beautiful giant face of a woman, and her hair are the waves of blue water that surround her. Wondering how's the rest of the world, one day she met a boy who got shipwrecked on her and she soon starts a dialogue with him. How they'll both react? Will their loneliness disappear, or increase, by this strange meeting? (please, someone fill this. ;v; )

Nope! I've recently painted a canvas of a female face which can be seen also as a mountain on an island and the waves can be seen as her hair. I didn't even know there was an Adventure Time episode like that, in my country the episodes are still quite few. I have to see that one, though. o___o

you build a car that can run on 17.5% AC sake. You want to advertize this invention, and go into business with your sake-powered car. A localmagazine has accepted your request to publish a short entry on it in their next issue, but only if you provide the content.

Write about something supernatural in nature, but subtle and under the radar. It can't have a secret group or society behind it or some history. It has to be a random thing that appeared in the world, did whatever it did, and then disappeared, preferably without any record of it, or any knowledge of how it came to be.

Your angelic wife has turned into a demon without you knowing. She has changed and bloodied her hands in order to protect you, but you throw her away in disgust and now she wants revenge

Write about the relationship of two lovers all the way up until they get a divorce.
