The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. So. What do you guys think about it? Anyway, I hear the first book is going to be turned into a movie.

I love the Mortal Instruments series, and the prequel too. I've seen the trailer for the movie, and I'm not impressed with what it showed.

I only read the first book and i just love it.I hope the movie will be amazing just like the first book is.

I can't say I have high hopes for the movie, but the books were definitely awesome.

It is. I don't like who plays Jace, but other than that... anyway. I've got all of 'em thus far, including the ID series. I can't wait for Heavenly Fire~~ Like Alice, though, I don't think the movie's gonna be all that fantastic. Though, that may be because the book is practically untouchable.

>>7 yeah. City of bones. It comes out in august i believe. I personally think the first 3 books where great. I just finnished the 4th and it wasnt as good. Too much romance, not enough action. It was fairly predictable as well. I'm going to continue reading out of curiosity but i think the death of valintine was a mistake. Desite the flaws in the 4th book, I did kind of like the ending. It sets up the 5th book fairly well.
