This is a story of mine in which I'm working on the side when taking breaks between everything else, so obviously it won't continually be updated 24/7.
It's a story I wanted to do, to bring back the fans of old Vampire Lore, that were lost when they tried to give Twilight a chance, whilst at the same time pulling in new readers in hopes of making a new impact that Twilight seemed to have failed at.
I will not spoiler anything before hand. I will update it as I go along. Comment on what you like, what you don't like, and so on.

REVamped
It's the year 2012. All is seemingly fine; well, as fine as this world can become. A world of Metal. A world of sounds. A world of machines. In a world created by God, but altered by man, what good comes of such abominations? Such "Creativity?" Such a world where water and grass become a luxury, and fresh air a rarity. Metal overlaps most of the planet. Rocks are hardly ever seen. A world where paying an arm and a leg may get you a rare breeze of fresh air, and a sip of clean, bottled water. Most of the world today does have beverages, but the water to create such things aren't fresh, and sometimes may holds many diseases.
The homes of many is set upon the great Metal Tower. Though it's not really a tower, but more so a machine used to make their planet not stop it's rotating, that the beings just so happened to live in, back many a year ago. It makes their planet live, as does it give upon it's inhabitants the ability to survive long enough to reach up to year 100. There are cases of some people living passed that, but it's such rare situations, where there is only five of those types of living mortals.
Situations have it that they don't age like everyone else. Those who die at 100 are all wrinkled and dried up. As is everyone else that dies here. Whereas those 5 beings look to be as young as down to their thirties, if even younger than that. No one knows their true ages, though.
These beings hold most control of the world in the palm of their hands. These beings are part of a community called "The Society", a tower above all towers looking down upon the entirety of their world. High above the sickly clouds, where even the unclean air can't reach. Bathing in the air of the fresh, brushing their teeth in the water of the pure. Seeing the sun as it's meant to be seen. These people probably aren't even aware that others are living beneath them. These beings are mortal, but try to act like God. Sitting high up on their metal thrones, looking down upon the rest with disgust. Trying to figure out their next move to help cause the rest of the mortal population pain, in return for their own personal enjoyment.
Though unbeknownst to such powerful leaders, their world will come crashing down when all they've worked so hard for is ripped from their still beating hearts. This is a story of unusual proportions. One of horror and blood lust. One of murder and shamelessness. You're about to enter a world in which you won't return the same. The world of darkness awaits you. There is no turning back now.
Chapter 1
January 10th, 2012
Gusts of hot, artificial winds blowing; the heat growing ever-so unbearable as the smell of the sick gambles itself around into the manufactured atmosphere. This is an average month of January for the residents of Mecha. The deathly tower that is always gloomily foreshadowing the rest of the world in a blanket of ill fated irony. A wise man once proclaimed the day when Technology would over-run the world, and everyone would suffer because of it. This man was the Architect for the tower.
Mecha; a once beautiful structure, that housed many of the world's finest and greatest minds. From nuclear physicists, to Robotic Engineers. The Tower was exquisitely vibrant back in it's day. Now it holds most of the run down bums that you'd find scrounging around in a gutter somewhere, fighting over the last can of Baked Beans. No one really knows the true downfall of Mecha, but many have rumored it to be that evolution took it's course, forcing the brightest to move upwards, and the rest to stay down below to rot. Over many years, though, it's really difficult to accurately pinpoint what really did happen in History. Word of mouth soon degrades with each passing ear; soon to change from word of mouth, to word of opinion. That would then evolve into fighting words, and war. History is the main cause of death, and to this day still holds true to many inhabitants of this world.
The only vibrant location left, is that of Unbeknost, the real name those 5 seemingly immoirtal beings live upon. Forged from the finest metal, using the utmost greatest technologies, this tower greatly resembles a giant looming overhead, stairing down it's victims. No one from below has ever been allowed access to such a location, and be able to tell about it, anyway.

Now on this part of the story, I'm trying to base it on our world, with how I see it, if it were over-run by technology.
Because this is exactly how our world is, word for word, from this quote.
