I need ideas of things to write about. I can take pretty much any idea and run with it. I need ideas because, writing is my only alternative to reading. Since I'm writing a book, I can't read while writing it. If I read anything while writing, my writing is too heavily influenced by whatever I'm reading. I don't want to tell you the genres of things I've already written because I don't want it to limit you in the ideas that you give me. I'll use any idea, mostly because I like the challenge, and will have to do research if necessary. I also like researching different things because they give me more ideas.

A boy who lives on his own (14 years old) who survives in the back alleys of streets of Manhattan and lives by his knowledge of the area. He is friends with a scruffy dog, whom he doesn't own but enjoys his company.
