Getting the new book?

I got all 4 books now, and I've been reading the last one. Just started though, they are awesome.

I read the first one.

I think I read the second one.

I heard the third one / fourth aren't as good?

The fourth makes up for it. It is hands down the best book i have ever read. It has a bad ending, but its still an awesome book.

For everyone who has read Inheritance, dont you hate how at the end, Eragon is all like "Yeah, i killed Galbotrox and saved everyone; nowill just take all your dragon eggs and go hide away in a place it will take you forever to get to! :D KTNXBAI!!"

I thought the last book was a little bland ._.

I've read all four books, and didn't thoroughly enjoy book three. However, book four was well written. Despite what some say, I think the ending was fantastic. The fact that Eragon's love interest was never able to be with him was an excellent part of the series, in my opinion. To be honest, I was hopeful that Roran would get the egg over Arya. That part was probably my only disappointment.

I really enjoyed the first book, but didn't really get a chance to finish the series. But I do agree that his writing style is quite magnificent; I hope he continues to write more in the future, even if it's not in this series.
