Has anyone read the ASoIaF series by George R. R. Martin? Or, like me, watched the first season of Game of Thrones, which is based on the first book (of the same title)?

I bought the boxset, but haven't read them yet. I loved the first season, and can't wait for more :)

Feast for Crows was an ordeal to get through.

It's as if George R. R. Martin took all the characters I didn't want to hear about (and Jaime) and lumped them all together in it.

I definitely want to read this series, but I have no money X(

I worship this book series! But i hate it as well for being so long and addictive. It was my uncle who got me into these when he brought me the first book for my birthday. Ive read every book so far and every episode (supplied by my uncle).
