Ive eaten watermelon with salt all my life, I was eating with some friend and some other random people that are friends with her. I asked one of them if they would like salt with the watermelon and they just looked at me weird XD I don't know if this is normal or not XD

I've seen other people do it before; it's not really common, though. But you eat your food however you damn well please.

Round some parts people eat watermelon with chili powder and lime or coconut juice. If it tastes good why not

If you like having salt with watermelon, then have salt with watermelon. It doesn't exactly matter if it's normal or not, eat however you please. it's your choice.

i read somewhere that eating watermelon with salt makes it sweeter...? dunno if that's true, though.

i never tried it with salt before, my whole life i've been eating it with no salt.. but i did hear of it before. I guess if you like it then do what you want.

Heheh... We were at the beach and my sister's bf was asking if anyone else ate their watermelon with salt. Naturally, nobody said yes, so I decided to try it and it was quite enjoyable!
