Hi !

I'd like to cook some mapo tofu to make the Chinese students in my school happy.
The recipe doesn't read that difficult, whereas I've seen in an anime that it was far from being easy to make a great mapo tofu.

Do some chinese think I should make it anyway ? Wouldn't you be too disapointed if that kind of food was not goodly made ?

And do you have any piece of advice, please ?

What kind of 'Chinese students' are you talking about anyway? I don't think it matters really, as long as you follow a recipe. In my experience, only the older aunties are picky about their food. Students are typically happy with "free food" in general. Though, I suppose if you served crappy food to anyone, they'd be disappointed, but no one's, probably, tactless enough to do or say anything about your food in the first place.

Also, anime is a terrible place to learn about food.

>>2 That's so true lol. And as Lan said, older people tend to be fussy about it. There are many different styles you can cook and just follow the recipe.
Just put enough spices and always taste it.
Watch some Youtube Videos if you cant follow a recipe that is written in a book.
