Im sorry if this thread doesnt belong here (I think it does), but I really enjoy Japanese food so I was wondering if anyone had some easily made Japanese recipes that I can make at home.

I posted recipe for Hiyashi Chūka, chilled summer noodles, some time ago. If you can get the ingredients, it's fairly easy. You'll find the recipe in the thread below (Food Creations! Post your home made food images and recipes here).

Regarding other dishes, here's a list of simple Japanese dishes you can easily look up on the internet:
- Okayu, a more sticky version of rice porrige with various toppings
- Zōsui, rice soup with various toppings
- Ochazuke, green tea over rice with various toppings
- Oyakodon, egg and chicken over rice, or other Donburi dishes
- homemade Ramen or other noodle soups
- Onigiri, rice balls
- Omu-Rice, rice-filled omelette
- Tamagoyaki, egg rolls
- Tamago kake gohan, raw egg over hot rice (looks like this)

If you want to try something more difficult, check out the following dishes:
- Nikuman, savory, filled dumplings
- Gyōza, potstickers
- Karē, Japanese curry

Good luck and have fun!
