I noticed not too much people are food nerds or people who have a passion for cooking, but I thought I could make something where everyone can share some creations they made! Can be something that exists here in the Earth, some wacky cake, an abomination (as long its edible and tasty ^^), or food that you just want to share. You also should try sharing the recipe for others to try making, but it isn't required.

I made a cream cheese dip with mixed berry jam along with banana chips. They turned out to be really good.

no one seems to take interested in this, so welp, help me get rid of this thread here ._.

Give it time man. I'd post something but I haven't made anything cool yet, but when I do if this thread is still up I will.

Contributing to this thread with a thing I did:

Chicken Noodle Souperman

4 chopped chicken breasts or thighs
1 pound rotini pasta
1/4 cup colby jack cheese (finely shredded)
4 scrambled eggs
2 quarts or litres of chicken stock
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp table salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder

3pots
A medium-sized pot
A large pot
A very large pot
1 large pan

INSTRUCTIONS:

Begin simmering the chicken stock on a back burner

Begin boiling the water simultaneously.

Set out a large pan and turn temperature up to a gentle medium

When the water comes to a boil, pour in the pasta. Simultaneously, put the butter in the pan, making sure to cover the cooking area. Put your chopped chicken into the pan and be sure to adjust it occasionally so all the pieces cook evenly. Gently stir the pasta occasionally to keep it from sticking to the pot.

The chicken will finish before the noodles, so when this happens, set it aside but not out of the way. This will be used shortly.

When the noodles are cooked to your preference, drain the water from the pot (but do not remove them from the pot) and place in the large pot immediately, without cooling. Immediately pour the egg on the noodles and stir vigorously while pouring until well mixed. Place the meat into the mixture while continuing to stir. When reasonably well mixed, add the salt, and onion and garlic powders. Pour the chicken stock into the mix while continuing to stir. Gradually add the cheese.

Depending on your preferences, you may want to keep the big pot on the stove on low.

Don’t forget to turn off the stove when you're done!

SERVES: 6

I understand it takes a lot of effort (and four hands, practically) to make this, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Hiyashi Chūka
(with Soba noodles)

Ingredients (for 1 serving):
50g soba noodles (alternatively ramen or sōmen noodles)

toppings
1 egg
1 spring onion (only the greens)
1/4 short cucumber
cheese to taste
ham to taste
1/2 tomato
other raw vegetables of your choice (e.g. carrots, bell pepper, celery)
1-2 tsp roasted sesame seeds

sauce:
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp dark rice vinegar
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp sugar
1 pressed clove of garlic
pressed ginger to taste
sesame oil to taste

Preparation:
Boil the soba noodles according to the packaging and wash them in cold water until cold; set them aside.
Wash the vegetables. Chop the spring onion greens into small bits and mix half of them with the egg to make an omelette; set the other half aside as garnish. Cut the tomato into two quarters and julienne the all other ingredients into 3-4 cm long stripes/sticks including the omlette.
Mix the ingredients for the sauce and put the finished product into a bowl or a soup plate. Add the cold soba noodles, mix them thoroughly and spread them to prepare for the toppings. Place the toppings decoratively on the noodles and garnish with spring onion chops and sesame seeds.

Hiyashi Chūka tastes best when it's served cold on a hot summer's day.

There's a mistake in the Hiyashi Chūka recipe: You need 120g noodles instead of 50g.

In a cup: vanilla yogurt with granola on top mixed in with your choice of berries, so heavenly, and healthy.
