It looks a lot like Patbingsu, a Korean dessert. From Wikipedia:
"Patbingsu (팥빙수, also stylized as patbingsoo, literally red beans with ice) is a Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings such as chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red bean paste."

I hate beans in my halu-halo, that's why I hate Chowking's version (overflowing with beans). I love Razon's though. Simple yet delicious. Finely-crushed ice, milk, macapuno, nata, saba, leche flan (I think?) and I don't know what else but it's a lot better. :3

it looks yummy~ but hold the beans

HHWW (Halo-Halo While Walking) is the new trend in the PH now. I think, because it's so damn hot here. I really don't like beans with that. But Creme Caramel and Corn Kernels are the way to go.

when i was in our province, i tried the kind of Halo halo that the locals sell. instead of jellos, they put different chopped root crops. i cant say that it was better than the halo halo with jellos but it was really good and satiating.

I love our very own halo-halo, though, I only want few ingredients to be added, like the sago (colored round jellies), bananas, kamote (sweet potato), and of course, ube (purple yam), leche flan and ice cream.. ^_^

26 Name: AkaneChan : 2015-05-28 22:28 ID:cx7PnEHo [Del]

Halo-halo for the win, I really love it when with ice cream and leche flan. Also when its full of milk <3

I'm basic. I drink nice, cold Gatorade.

Unless I can get my hands on some ice cream or soda. :)

In terms of making it myself, though, I've made mango smoothies and frozen them in popsicle molds. Also often freeze a cup full of apple juice and scrape it out with a spoon. Absolutely delicious.

I hope it's okay not to sage this. A month later this is still relevant.
