Rice is a common staple food in Asia..
There are a lot of ways to incorporate rice in food, it could be as just plain rich with viands or into a sweets like dango or shaped into an onigiri or rice noodles
Rice is also good for carbo-loading (common diet for athletes.)
you can post food related to rice here like rice cake or sweets, kakanin

it kind of shocked me that there isn't a thread about rice here... i guess, it's not really popular.... i guess people forget rice is also considered as a part of asian food

PALITAW.
Made from ground sticky rice (galapong).
Cooking these is really fun! Waiting for them to float, scooping them out and rolling them in grated coconut... I miss doing this. ♥♥♥
