I believe that the Alinea Resturaunt in Chicago is indescribable. The food there is amazing, also it has creative ways to plate the food, on plates, driftwood, boughs, pillows, or plateless- On the table itself!! It costs $210 per person, but it's worth it! The Resturaunt is famous for it's desserts!

You eat it with a spoon. Also I've been there before. 4 people= I'm out $840, but it was SOOOOOO Good! It was worth the $210. THAT'S HOW GOOD IT WAS!!

I've been there too. The $210 mostly comes from the free refills on the aged wines and champagnes, and the 17-coarse samplers.
