I work at a restaurant , and the amount of food that people order and never finish is awful. At times, when a food is "too old" or at least to sell, it is thrown out, even though it is still edible. So I take it upon myself to stop someone from throwing it out, and I'll take it home to eat it myself. I hate wasting food, it almost makes me cry. Anyone else?
Me too! I hate seeing people finish half a plate and throwing the rest away, wtf!? I always make sure to finish all that is served to me, even if it's too much; it's just polite IMO. Plus if you add up all the food you thrown away you'll see you could have saved a lot of money if you just saved the food for layter instead of throwing it away.

I like taking home leftovers. Another thing you can do with leftovers is give it to the homeless. I did that once, gave it to the homeless man sitting outside the resturant.
