Hello fellow Dollars members.
I got accepted into a FCCLA Competition for Baking and Pastry Arts. I need to make a cake or pastry for a competition. However, I'm at a loss at what to make for this competition, and I would like some ideas. It has to be professional, like creme puffs or some type of a fancy cheesecake.
Any ideas? They'd be greatly appreciated.

Well, it's not like we're actual cooks, much less pastry chefs, so I don't think help will be of great use from this board.

I'm fairly interested in baking and pastry making and whatnot. I would say instead of doing something incredibly fancy, try going with the classic cheesecake. It's good, something that most like and make sure that it's not only clean-cut but tasty to~
