I'm in the middle of some friendship trouble right now...X( Haiz... anyway, do you have anything that might be going on with your life?

I was thinking that we should spread online rumors about the Dollars around Singapore like the anime. Just to get the Dollars noticed and get the ball rolling. Just for fun.

Let's get more people into the dollars first, then we have to be known Singapore that "the world is not as bad as it seems" with us around. We will be the one standing up fhe good of humanity. Such thing as simple as picking up litter to catching criminals or scumbags of society. We will be the one to stop such things. I would worry too since I failed my NAPFA as well. Interesting choices. My CCA is NCC Sea, a uniform group. But I technically quit since I skipped it for about 3 years already. Such a bad example eh? Anyways, I'm not in any CCA at the moment. Maybe I would have in my new school once I graduate? I don't know. I'm really lazy to get myself involved in all of these things. Isn't academics enough? Well, that's my opinion.

I'm doing fine, the weather hasn't been that bad, some of my classmates haven't been coming to school because of sickness the previous week though... Last day of March Holidays! I miss it already... Do we have a holiday for Good Friday?

I never heard of it but sounds cool. I'm no expert, but I see that most of the world, first world countries especially, judge kids like us based on our merits. If we don't get generally good grades, we are viewed as defectives. Since those kids are considered defectives, they try to get them to use their other talents. That's why they incorporate CCAs and what not. All of the sake of the testimonials and resumes. Overall, we are judged by those, be it for our new school or work. So, kids who have nothing or bad things, they are screwed. For me, I'm average thus, I can deduce that I will have an average life. In a nutshell, grades and all ultimately reflect our future, most of the time that is.

I'm skeptical about the hoodies to be honest. You lead the progress, I don't know how to arrange these kind of things.

Well, according to MOE, all schools are good schools so no, I wouldn't say that any school is elite. But certain schools do make your parents feel prouder. And in my class right now, everyone is quite friendly with one another, we have our own group of friends, and besides the occasional quarrels between the more stubborn classmates, everyone minds their own business. What do you think about Juying?

Well my exams are coming and I'm honestly not happy with my test results, mock papers you can say. Like its 75% and above standard but I aimed at least 85%.

I see. My examinations however, have a range of grades, from F9 to A2. To make things worse, no A1 grades. Well, this is what no studying do, so go study people.

Looks is important, but it is not everything. Sadly, even I judge a book by its cover. However, I do put in effort to at least flip few pages. Sometimes, I just don't care, thus it's fair for all the books. Personally, I cannot help it but to like cute girls, but if the personality turns me off, goodbye. Looks is merely the bait. Personality still counts. It's just sad for those "not cute" girls to be avoided right away. I guess everyone should put in effort to look good. Like, I said, it is important. Just that it isn't everything, because personality is a big deal.

Our language centre is offering us a trip to Japan, homestay and such~~~ You’d need to pass an interview and test... on speaking Japanese and since its the first year, I’m not going to try out... Only six people from Singapore can go, I think. I’ll be waiting for next year!

Well, I for one would like to see less restricting rules. I’m not talking about rules restricting gum and all that, they have a reason for that after all. But about LGBTQ rules... It’s great that they don’t kill LGBTQ people on sight, but maybe allow marriage? What do you guys think? I personally know a few and the way they are treated and teased sometimes are upsetting. A different sexuality or gender shouldn’t be used as a joke... Love is love after all right?

Love can be for anything. So yes, despite gender, we can love. However maintaining a family might be a little hard since.. well.. there wouldn't even be a family. Adopting kids, sure. Whatever it is, the natural ethics of human will no longer be followed and that's a huge change. For the better or worse, I don't know. Aside family, I'm totally fine with loving one another, no matter gender. I'm straight though.

Hardly exciting. Not sure how I can celebrate to be honest.

What do you guys think of the education system here in Singapore? With such stress on examinations and all. In NJ, there’s a subject called Governance and Society where we have to study these matters ;-; Pretty interesting actually...

Thank you. I'm keeping my options open. I'll decide based on my results. However, I would say I want to go to JC. NJ is definitely a choice if I'm good enough. Though October 13th is clashing with my exams.

I think the education system here is great. It's just competitive, which is the downfall. Only those strong enough will rise to the occasion. Other than that, education here will be viewed as bad. At the end of the day, it's how student use education to their advantage. It's all about money making after all, as an adult. And yes, that subject sounds interesting.

I agree that it’s competitive, too much really. And stressful, there are a lot of expectations for us to do well and choose the job which we excel in, not what we love to do. Something I dislike would be how society looks down on Cleaners and workers like that, saying that if you don’t study hard, you’ll end up like them. I like how it pushes us forward though, all this stress helps us in a way.

Yea. I think it's better to study the things we like, not random subjects for the sake of grades. I suppose the actual education is the competition itself. Since society look down on the weak, they are training us to be strong.

Everyone is different. Everyone wants to survive. Despite our differences, the strong will win over the weak and thus be "successful". The world is cruel. Education is merely the training.

It really is sad when you think about it. There are good things about life though, and even though we don’t exactly like challenges, the feeling you get when you overcome them is worth it isn’t it? If only life were so simple as to give us a stress free life after we graduate :’)

Sadly the reality doesn't work that way. Honestly this is all planned out, for us to get ready for the outside work life, so it's reasonable to do in such a "stressed-out" environment, well the experience is different but the context is similar.

Well, school is nothing more than a propaganda platform for kids to learn to be working adult slaves. Real geniuses be successful without school. Meh, so long you're happy, that's all that matters.

In a way yes but essentially we have to depend on it to survive in this society.

Talking about school. My prelims are starting. Last-minute revision is my forte. Well, I can't rely on it forever though. I'll never improve that way.

Yea.. I'm somewhat a delinquent, so I stopped going to my CCA (NCC), since Secondary 2. I suppose average isn't bad after all.

The expectations are high for people, anyways I don't have a CCA too. It is considered conpulsary but I'm not interested.

Yea. My school had NPCC back then but it closed down for some reason. NCC was just like any other uniform group. Mine was specifically "Sea", so it's pretty much like Navy. One memorable activity was kayaking. It was fun and I had a certificate for it. I'm sure there's more fun stuff to do but I lost interest.
