depends on what genre you want tbh
I would go for Boku no Hero Academia(action), Shingeki no Kyojin(action), Horimiya(romcom), Ousama Game(for a bit of gore), SQ: Begin with your name (yuri), 19 days(yaoi), Gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun and Daily lives of high school boys (comedy), kuroshitsuji (i dont know what to put here xD)
The genres i gave are just generalized :P

the flcl manga is actually amazing. It has a totally unique style and follows a different interpretation of the events of the anime. A totally different take on the core ideas that make flcl so great. Any fans of the anime owe it to themselves to see just how different and valuable it is.

I finished Tokyo Ghoul manga and anime and it was pretty good. I also read Attack on Titan. Or the Demon Prince of Momochi House.
PS: just in case someone is interesting there's an Anime Matsuri in Houston Texas, 13-17 (might be 14-17 don't quote me) of June. I'm going as Uta from TG with my uncle. I'm making a post when I go

Try Blue Exorcist. The anime for it came out a while ago, and people seem to have forgotten about it, but the plot is so crazy good. I recommend it!

The hype has already kind of blown over but if you're looking for something more recent you could try Angels of Death? It was originally a Japanese RPG Horror Game but now it's blown up into an anime manga and I believe LN series! Sometime it's a bit cliche but I enjoyed it!
