If there is a thread like this, I apologize. Apocalypse no Toride is a zombie manga. Luckily*maybe spoiler, but not sure* during the zombie outbreak, the MC is in prison.*end of the maybe spoiler*. This manga has quickly gone up into my top ten, at least. Also, it's depressing/sad, thrilling, and has cliffhangers that make me want to throw a tantrum.

And I get you at the cliffhanger parts, they are placed really good but I always wanna throw a(and sometimes i do throw a little) tantrum .
Ans the sad parts are really good, same with the horror parts. It gets really grotesque sometimes >_<

I really love this manga~! Thanks for making this thread. The cliffhangers get to me too. The latest one had me mentally screaming. It's one of my favorites! The *Spoiler?* evolved zombies are scary! There are land, and aquatic zombies. What's next?! Are they going to fly?!*Spoiler? End* This manga has given me life. It is sad!

This manga is amazing. Have any of you caught up to the latest chapter? >>5 The latest chapter was very frustrating. It was at a very great part, yet cut off. I completely agree with everything that has been said. Apocalypse no Toride does have awesome characters, and gore. Though many people complain about the lack of females I actually favor that. Plus, there's the fact that *Spoiler* the females that do show up are crazy.*Spoiler End* Yes, I have caught up with the latest manga chapter, and it's shocking. Though I'm disappointed a chapter comes out once a month instead of a week.

So I just read the latest chapter, and...... What is that thing?! Well, we know what it is and everything, sort of, but why?! Why did it *Spoiler* take the appearance of Maeda?! *Spoiler End* I only know HOW it did that. But, seriously. It merging, and stuff made me suddenly feel like I had a weak stomach while eating.

This last chapter was really surprising for me. I hope that all these death flags are wrong and that character >>18 doesn't actually die. Not very hopeful though.

I want the main character to power up more or something, but I'm worried about what would happen to him if he actually did.

So... I'm not going to be surprised if it's really a death flag since the author already killed someone from the Cell 4.
But it's still going to be sad. Really sad.

I'm going to have to contemplate a lot if he dies. So far, he;s been the one to always protect Maeda, dire, or not. Question is, who will do that from now on? I doubt Yoshioka will, but then again, maybe because:
One, they kind of need him at this point because he appears to be immune, and able to control the "zombies" if that's what they can still be called.
Two, because Noiman, and Gou (if the death flag is waved down), have sacrificed themselves for this one boy, and he'd feel it's his responsibility.
Now, there is also another possibility. Yoshioka may just give up, or perhaps even blame Maeda in the heat of the moment. Him giving up is more likely out of the two.
Also, every time a women shows up in this manga, I will yell furiously for them not to go near her. Do not associate with her because all the females in this manga are crazy. Not that I mind. I've been looking for a series with all if not most male main characters, no offense.
The point is, things are getting heated.

That's it. I'm dead. He died. Ugh, and there was a description from the Maeda zombie on how it killed him. This chapter was sweet, though. The relationship between Gou, and Maeda. At least we witnessed it One.Last.Time.

Also, Maeda unlocks his powers. He now has the three irises; good for him, but bad that it took the death of Gou to unlock it. It's like this manga is a main character death countdown.

I want to see Yoshioka's reaction. I wonder if he will die, and the other guy, and Maeda will separate, or the other guy will die, and then, Maeda will be by himself. He may find another group, but it will never replace Cell 4 in his heart, obviously.

They really did kill off Gou. I guess the plot armor is never string enough. This manga is trying to show that. Next to die may be Yoshioka. Him because let's face it, the other guy will not risk his life for Maeda, and Yoshioka is the only other person who might. If the other guy does die first, then good. He's on this trip for an already dead son. No offense, but seriously.

Ughhhhh. . . my hope has been literally crushed!
I hope that Yoshioka lives at least, but that little scene with them all in the classroom gives me the sinking feeling that this is just a countdown of death.

Time to mourn Cell 4 I guess, since it's down to being Cell 2. I hope next week's Maeda destroys that giant zombie.

I agree. It is a countdown to death. It's proving to us that the armor is never *strong enough, and anyone can, and will die. This a horrible, yet irresistible manga.

Maeda better destroy that zombie. It looks like he's already in the process; using his zombie lord powers. Also, it killed Gou. That's more than enough reason.

I can't wait for the next chapter.

That's true, I can see him ripping it to shreds. I hope that he gets a change in character, instead of just a temporary powerup.

I also expect an actual growth in character. If they did all this only for him to revert back to what he was, he isn't going to be able to handle anything else. Things aren't going to get easier because the longer they live out there without finding a cure, the more mental strength they need.

I wonder if that female scientist is ever actually going to cure him. Maybe it would be better if Maeda could somehow adapt and overcome it, because then he could keep the power to get rid of the zombies.

Although, if they develop and administer a mass cure I guess that doesn't really matter.

Ahh, you're right, I think it's too early. To be honest I don't mind if everyone dies except for a handful of people, kind of like Plague Inc, haha, but I think this manga still has some time left. Probably even if the cure was made now there would still be a lot of death trying to give it out.

I think the prisoner part is super interesting too, so I want to see them go back to the prison before people are cured.

I don't mind if everyone dies, either. Well, I at least want to stick with the MC, but if everyone else is dead, he can head off also. I would hop it has more time left. Then again, with the rate they're killing off characters, I can only hope. I agree.

You know, for some reason I forgot about the characters at the prison, and wonder what they might be doing. Did the other female regain her memories, and is now dead? Well, I doubt it because they would show the viewers. Her death was already promised by the guy who can see two seconds into the future. I can't remember anyone's name, not including the people who died, except for Yoshioka, and Maeda.

I'm not even done with the chapter yet, but I had to comment!

I'm so glad Maeda realized because if he didn't then Iwamura would have died! Like, Globness.

So, we get to see Maeda's rage. It was a good kind of rage, but just shows us that he is dangerous. We didn't see Yoshioka's reaction to Maeda because IWAMURA IS ALIVE!

Yay, he lives AND we got to see Maeda kick ass! Seriously, I know this manga has a good chance of ending unhappily, but right now I don't care. Just praise the author, haha.
