I think it's a really interesting manga, and my favorite version is the anime (because the end is so wtf xD), and I also really love the film 3.0 You can (not) redo (Kaworu is my love for sure, yeah)
PS : there are four versions of Evagelion, and you have to read and watch all of them because Evagelion is the meaning of life 8D

Coincidentally enough, I'm just starting the anime now! I've heard so much about it, can't wait.

Don't get your hopes up, it's not what you think.

I just don't get the fascination of this anime. I've only watched the original series and consider the plot to be insufficient, the animation quite okay for the time it aired, the opening is great and the characters are incredibly unsympathetic. Though there is a lot of symbolism, the show is too simple to leave a psychological or ideological impact and too tepid to be entertaining.
Obviously this is just my opinnion and i'd really like to hear what others enjoyed about it.
