This is my favourite manga series and I just want to find out other people's opinions about it. I personally believe it is a fantastic series with strong characters, a solid storyline, great settings and amazing art. Can't wait for the next volume to be released so I can read more and find out what happens next. Also, my favourite characters are Rin and Shiro Fujimoto, if you'd like to say who yours are too then go ahead.

We already had a Blue Exorcist thread, but this one is slightly better...even though you chose to use art from the anime instead of the manga.

And I wanted to say bless your name OP, but then you didn't list Yukio among your favorite characters so I don't know what to do anymore.

Blue Excorcist is Awesome. Rin is my fav. Son of the devil and adoptive son of a priest. How awesome is that. looks like he's got alot of figuring out to do.

also on OP's topic, I actually own boom 1-6 of the blue exorcist manga and I really enjoy it, the only thing i would criticize is that they end every book so badly, its not so much a cliffhanger but the book feels incomplete.

i have read some of it and it looks really good :) i like it. i have also seen a couple of episodes of the anime and i like :) its really good. It is also one of my Favorites.

A chapter about Yukio. The new year has been kind to me.

The manga is excellent! It really takes the time to develop each character as they come, and focuses side stories on them, instead of just focusing everything on Rin. Although I want more Kuro and Amaimon! An excellent series, for sure.

Im another one of the Blue Exorcist fanbase here. i only found it a few months ago but i think its really good. I have read almost all the manga online (im too cheap to buy manga :D)and i have watched some of the anime but it is a good series. i asked my friend what he thought and he thinks its crap >:-| but i checked it out anyway and showed it to a few people and now my friends that like anime/manga have even more to watch :P but all in all this has made it to be one of my Favorite anime/manga series.

I love AoEx too. I really love it. It's my favorite anime/manga series. It's just so perfect for me. I love Rin, he's my favorite character from the series. I just happen to like him and I just happen to be like him. I love other characters too, expect Shiemi. I don't love her. I just like her, bit by bit.

I have watched the whole series and now I'm waiting for 2nd season. The movie is out and it's availbale on internet, with english subs. I watched it too. (Without subs tough.) And I have readen all the chapters that has been published. And I have to say.. Renzo's two brothers Kinzo and Juzo Shima was in the movie too. QwQ

Would someone be kind enough to tell me why Amaimon is their favorite character? Please enlighten me, because he's one of the least developed characters in the story and I don't get it.

Sometimes I like to watch the anime then read the manga because most anime never get to the full story and character depth a manga can; yet sometimes that can backfire.

It gets really good, it's still ongoing, and the next chapter is due in July, seeing as it's a monthly release. Great read though. The manga goes farther than the animation though, so if you want more of the story, I suggest reading it.

They're just cute side-stories centered on various characters. Despite not being written by Kazue Kato I think they're all pretty in character and fun to read :)

my other nitpick was that they never really introduced that kid with the puppet in his hand, he only started to do things towards the end of the show.but overall i loved the show and the characters,it just sucks that they deviated from the manga. unless they pull a fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and remake it lol

Unbelievably great manga ok anime

Chapters 65 and 66 have made my brain go a bit ?????????????? but at least I got some really good laughs out of it.

The last couple of pages of 66 sure make it look like something still isn't right though.

Decent series but not one of my favorites it's good for the average shonen reader but not for everyone.

In terms of most adorable characters, Blue Exorcist truly shines with the adorableness of our demon-tailed protagonist. Also let's credit BE with being one of the few anime that actually understand how guns work. (albeit with special "medicinal" ammunition)
