Is Naruto nearing the end, with the whole new great shinobi war and everything? I wanna hear some opinions, people!

I haven't really been keeping up so I don't really know what the 'feel' is right now, but is would totally be time for Kishimoto to try and wrap things up already. No matter how popular, it can't go on forever.

it´s probably gonna end soon after the 4th shinobi war, cause kishimoto said, sasuke and narutos last fight is going to be at the end of the manga.

I don't think naruto would end after sauske and naruto fight because they would have to show naruto trying to rebuild his village and meeting new people.

From what I hear Masashi doesn't know when Naruto will end, but he does say that Volume wise it won't hit a 3-digit number. I just hope it ends soon and that it has at least a descent ending.

The last episode of shippuden is called the end so there probably wont be any more series.

I sincerely doubt it. For one, there are still a lot of things that could lead to a new plot after this new, VERY exciting arc. Plus, Bleach has currently entered an entirely new arc, which means we can expect a few hundred new episodes and chapters from them in the future. We can most likely assume that if Shonen Jump wishes Bleach to continue running, they will want Naruto to continue as well.

I say no. Simply because Kishimoto is a stubborn fucker.

I think most of us feel that whether we want it to continue or not... Kishimoto-sensei will continue to milk the cash-cow.

Personally I'm getting tired of Naruto pretty much single-handedly turning the tide of the war (and lets face it, in all likelihood winning it). But there's still the mystery of Tobi/fake-madara and we have yet to see Sasuke re-enter the arena.... so a couple hundred chapters to go at least :D

I think Sasuke dies and gives his Sharingan to Naruto kinda like Obito and Kakashi, this leads to Naruto bring back the bloodline hertiage of the Uzumaki and the Uchiha altogether (my opinion)

It's probably going to end pretty soon. Alot of the powerful and important characters have been killed off and the war is a pretty huge deal. So many memories come from this manga/anime but all good things must come to an end.

I really like the manga and the anime too, but it's toooooo long for me. I mean i like it, but i'd like it to end. (Okay now you can say I'm a jerk, or an idiot to wish for stuffs like that, but i had enough, and that's how i feel) So, anyways i really like it, but....that was enough for me....becasue at the beginning i watched Naruto whenever i could and i didn't really do anything else. Now i watch episodes and read the manga chapters once in a month then i just go and watch other animes, and go and read other mangas. All in all, i really like it, but there are others, which i like and love more then it. Bout i'd really like to see the end of it, I'm excited, about what happening next, but i can feel, that slowly i will lose interest of it

After he explained everything about the Great Sage and all that (which I'm sure has some connection to Naruto) and put a final dot to things (about Sasuke, about Oruchimaru, about Naruto being the hokage someway, and Hinata marrying Naruto XD). The fourth shinobi world war arc is a great end to the long series I think, he just has to play his cards well.

I think they should definitely end the series after this arc, but could easily make another manga focused on the next generation of shinobi.

Naruto will end this year for sure, but we don't know the ending.

On one hand I don't want it to end because I really like Team 8 and the end of Naruto basically means the end of them. But on the other hand, Naruto has been very underwhelming ever since Sasuke decided to attack the Leaf. Everything after that just seems either sloppy or bland. It really is time for it to end. Perhaps it has carried on for too long to begin with.

I wonder if anyone realises that the manga is already over? This *is* the final arc, but there's still a few things that happen (such as introduction of another antagonist) plus a wrap-up and epilogue. But after that, Shippuden's over. I'm more worried about the spin offs that're being made.
