Does anyone like the Haruhi Suzumiya manga? I like it because it tells me more then what the anime couldn't tell because its short (14 episodes for season).

The original series is the light novel. I don't know how far the manga is, but it's likely the light novel's farther than that even.

I would read it but I'm still pissed about Endless Eight in the anime. I read that in the light novels once - ONE GOD DAMNED ITERATION WAS ENOUGH.

>>4 Dont worry. In the manga the Endless Eight is 1 or 2 chapters long if I remember correctly because I own it(it does not repeat 8 times in the manga it just shows how they end it). I would read the light novels but Yen Press recently published the arc the movie takes place and the manga is a bit more far then that.

Yeah it's awesome,I keep procrastinating on reading the novels or manga but I've seen both seasons (ALL.9 Endless Eight.TORTURE) and the movie and i'm hoping that there will be word about a new season.

Why they needed to make that into an 8 episode long feature baffles the entire fan base, I believe.

I already read the novel version of Disappearance as well, but I still haven't seen the movie. Is the manga version any good or should I just watch the OVA?

I liked the manga version. It is different from the anime. I am not sure if it follows the Light Novel. I waited and I was very exited about season 2 but the Endless 8 was horrible. Why not 1 episode of everything normal then the other of them almost failing like it is going to be the end for them till something makes it go away.

I liked the anime's Endless Eight. There are a few others like me, but for the most part nobody liked it, and while I understand why, I just respectfully disagree and say, "Haters gonna hate".

Anyways, yeah I think I really need to get into the light novel(s) and the manga. This is due to the fact that I love the series so much, that it would be a crime not to!

I bought Volume 16 recently and I love it! The material in it was not adapted to anime or the film so it's neat as a Haruhi fan to discover more of this big story. I'd buy the light novels if I knew how or if they sold them in book stores and the manga isn't easy to find either but when I do they're awesome to read.
