Kind of frustrating that this series only comes to light now that the anime is coming out.
It's a good story, but it's... not for easily disturbed readers. Some of the characters can get kind of twisted (Mockingbird. Mockingbird so much.), and the punishment games that happen later are potential nightmare fuel.
Love Shiro, though.

Love this manga! I'm happy it was animated even though I thought it was kind of a dud...but the art in the manga is great and the story is so creative and original. it's seriously one of my favorite mangas to date. Does anyone know when/if there's going to be a new chapter? I know that mangaka said she was on maternity leave, but that was a while ago :/ If they leave the end hanging like this I'll die!

I am reading this manga and I think it explains it a lot better than the anime. I liked reading the manga way better than watching the anime because while watching the anime I felt so confused O,o Plus there's the fact that the manga series is longer and continues the story whereas the anime stops after scarchain escapes

I loved this series, I wanted to read it all in hard copy but after they closed down, no other publication company i know of has picked it back up to print in english. There are two things which "ruined" this one for me.
1. The anime just cut off in the middle of everything.
2. The main character.
