Or would you make a good main character for a manga?
It may not be now, but one point in your life. What genre would it be?

My college years were pretty much something straight out of an anime/manga. Unique friends, Noob in a sport, charismatic captain ("genius" in the sport) takes me under his wing. He graduates and I'm thrown into the world of tournaments, meeting new and quirky people. Skiing, and beach scenes when the time is right. Overcome crippling injuries, eventually become captain, then start building up a team good enough to compete. Love, loss, and graduation. I left behind both a legend, and a legacy in my wake.

I have been told by people that my life would be pretty good as a manga... I dont think so but hey what do I know I just lived it

My life was too happy/normal to be a manga. Nothing amazing happened. No exciting romance, no great goals in life, good friends though! Maybe some comedic manga like Azumanga Daioh? One of my friend has actually drawn few short and simple comics of what happened irl :D

my friend told me i would make a pretty good main character. as much as i hate main characters though.

his reason: i introduced everyone to everybody and now we have a strong circle of friends. a good number of us. around 11 or so. i think my high school year would've been a pretty good manga/anime. entering loner, marching band, meeting tons of new friends, sacrificing friends and family for love, etc.

I could never see myself as a main character since I melt away in the background. To cut it short, I'm more of a wallflower that loves solitude.

But I think my life would be worth a shot, considering that it had some unexpected twists and all. My dad died when I was five, my mum had to work abroad, and I was always left alone, which I think made me into the introvert that I am now. I'm a late bloomer, and I was always set apart from the other girls. I fell for someone I shouldn't fall for, liked someone that liked my best friend, and I had to leave my friends. I earned new ones here, and they made me come out of my shell. *shrug*

Everyone has their own thing going on. Everyone has their own stage where they excel. Everyones got their ups and downs in life. Before entering college, I was quite the introvert. The loner, the wallflower, etc etc. My only outlet during those dull times was music, then some friends and I started an anime club in school. I'd like to read blogs then post comments on them, thinking as to what the person on the other side of the monitor must be like going through such a situation and such.

As for now, my life is probably a slice of life drama, where I find how difficult it is for a new graduate to get a job while attempting to overcome a gut-wrenching breakup ^~^" but... life goes on, c'est la vie you know?

I don't think my life is dramatic enough for a manga per say but I can see myself as the narrator cause I've met lots of interesting people.

If my life was made into a manga, it would be K-On without moe and musical success.

My life would honestly make a really interesting manga (as in it is really tragic but I think painful is the right word)

In high school, my best friend died and all the students liked to beat me up. I always made the girls in my class cry and all my teachers think the reason I am always bruised up and bleeding is because I hurt myself. Worst of all my sister would always torture me by locking me up in pitch black rooms. Over time I became evil and I began to DESTROY all the people who made my life a living hell (except my sister of course). At the end I wasn't satisfied so I worked hard getting good marks and I graduated high school alive even though i thought life was boring.

I was born wit a lot of health problems, so i couldn't/still can't do a lot of things other people can, and when i went into preschool i was always bullied by other kids... that carried on until i was in about second grade. then i got hurt really bad in third and didn't heal up until about fifth (missed a lot of emelentary school =.=) Middle school was pretteh uneventful except for that i was diagnosed with some heart issues, and nao in HS, a lot of people ignore me and i keep to myself~ (except for when im on here X3) >u<

If nothing happens for you to have a story, take the step out and make a story! Even if its just you walking around, its all about the things you notice, and the way you perceive things to be. I've always wanted to read a manga about blogging, or hacking, etc etc. I've actually come up with a pretty good plot for one too: A mod on 4chan has to find and ban peeps each day. HS really does suck. Too much pressure by parents, friends, etc. Your story is pretty tragic, but keep in mind that it still keeps going. If you want to make things interesting, work hard, get into a good college. everyones interested in huge turning points. Trust me, once your in college, HS wont even matter.

I would be a pretty good main character...but i'm not so sure about my life. It's very exciting but there really is no plot or storyline, (but maybe it could be like Lucky Star, Gintama) if it were allowed to be in an unrealistic world THEN YES!!! I WOULD LIKE TO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER!!! But I would rather much prefer to be the Antagonist. XD

I believe my life would make a good manga. But it would be an odd kind of life manga wherein not much happens, but the stuff that does happen is very interesting. I also consider myself to be quite a colourful character.

My life consist of Going to school, going to internships, going to work, going to job interviews, going to concerts, performing at concerts, hunting for records, smoking, chilling with friends and eating Chinese food in parking lots.
I'm getting older and I quickly realize how important responsibility is as well as plans for the future.

Maybe. Perhaps my life would be the narration of the rather bland, yet somehow entertaining and "different" antics of my classmates. Consider me the Yukiteru Amano of reality. Minus the survival game.

Although I did have a peculiar episode a year or so ago, but I don't think it would sell well - it doesn't have a happy ending and is rather broing at parts.

my life as a manga would be pretty boring. ive traveled to italy and costa rica but nothing really else that would be too interesting. i go to a nerd camp every year so that might count but most of my daily life is me being a dumbass around friends and hating everyone in my school except me friends (which i have very little). you might think that my romantic counters would be pretty funny but ive had few and theyve all failed not to mention ive never dated anyone.

Ahah, yeah last thing I need is life turning into a manga, mine would be one of those to where you read the first 3 pages... say "What the f*ck..." and put it back on the shelf wondering what the hell just happened....... If it had Harem and not every single one of my friends girlfriends trying to kill me on a daily basis, it would be a damn casual manga xD

My life manga wouldn't be anything special, unless I got to be the narrator. Then I'd unleash all my randomness at normal events to make them more interesting(i.e. a fight with beans in the middle of a class turns into all-out intergalactic war. And the bean fight happened.)
Aside from that i have nothing that could be considered a real issue (loads of people around with waaay worse problems than mine) or romance, mostly because i'm an utter failure at forming relationships... although people say i'm funny so I guess I can make a comedy manga out of it.

Mine would be a pretty ridiculous comedy. I go to a special high school its public but you have to pass a test (by some miracle I got in). Because all the students are so smart (but weird), we can do almost what ever we want and the administrators don't care. They believe we are smart enough to make our own decisions so they allow us to skip class if we believe we already know whats being taught (we often lie). We have to keep our grades above c- though. Overall, there are alot of romances (many of which take place in the storage room where there is a big comfy mat that we only use for spirit week. To add, while there are exceptions many of the students are very goofy and act like a manga/anime character. I wouldn't be the main character cuz Im more of the loud annoying cocky best friend. My friend Nolan is basically a more sarcastic Kyon (from melancholy of Haruhi Suzumia) so he'd be the main character.

Hah. Mine would be very dull and very weird and very funny, but mostly weird. As the years go by my personality changes, but at the same time I struggle to keep hold of my relations, and pathetically failing. Oh, and I also have a family with a couple of problems and I'm basically clueless if we're really loving each other. *sigh* So far, I haven't encountered any manga that matches my life. Ohmygosh, I'm now gonna sit in the corner and re-think about my life.

My life isn't very interesting so it wouldn't make a very good manga, but i would like a more interesting life. I'm not really a main character, if i'm lucky enough I would probably be a background character that everyone forgets.

Only thing interesting about my life is my brother getting cancer and me becoming his blood donor :/ I had to miss like two or three months of school.
And I was like, only nine or ten. And he was 20-21.
Other than that, not much. I could never be a main character, not even in my own life.

I feel like I'd be a supporting character in an otome game inspired shoujo/josei manga in high school... and I don't even like those (I like seinen). So, at this point in my life, a slice of life seinen would fit the bill, now that I'm out of high school and the drama in my life has become more along the lines of 'what the hell am I going to do with my life' plot rather than 'unrequited love dodecahedron between a bunch of dudes and one chick' plot. ^_^

If Izaya Orihara and the most Mary Sue-ish Mary Sue in the world got in a sick, twisted BDSM relationship and had a kid, that kid would be me. And nobody likes a Mary Sue, nor a Mary Sue's kid. So either I'd make the worst anime ever, or some kinda niche series for people who like people that switch between jerkass and nicest person ever on a whim.

If you'd like to watch an anime about a character who pretty much sits in their room everyday, talks to their self, does weird things, laughs at their self doing weird things, and slowly tries to go outside, then yeah, I'd be a hit.

I actually started to make one about my life it's kinda depressing but has a heartwarming end in a brief summary I was always the quiet shy artist that always seemed invisible and only had her drawings for friends the only ones it seemed that could see me were mean and ripped them up Even the teacher ignored me!It went on like that for 3 years switching schools and stuff like that but this one time a girl named Clara stood up for me but I was scared of her because she was loud and spoke about whatever was on her mind and I mean ANYTHING. But anyway she was persistent to be my friend she followed me around and tried to talk to me and eventually I warmed up to her. And that was my very first friend.then she introduced me to Erika who has the EXACT personality of haruhi suzumia. She and Tara sometimes fight over where I sit and where I go and stuff. For the first time I felt wanted.and so on and so on more friends and emotional hurricanes......etc.

It's not about would my life be a good manga, it's about how my life is since I see everything as a anime. I picture everything like its animated. I got bored seeing reality all the time so now I add a flair to life. I even adopted traits from 30 separate characters into my personality. It's fun to defy normal when it gets boring.

I think my life would be a funny anime just because of the way me and my friends act (and that I have info on most people in my grade) maybe not as the main caracter.

i used to be considered the "cool kid" i used to have a lot of friends.
i did hurt a lot of people in my life, that is one of the reasons why i don't like being around people, because im afraid of hurting them.
