If anyone likes Japanese horror visual novels, I suggest checking out Death Mark! It's first sold in PSVita but now it's on several platforms. It's on Steam as Spirit Hunter : Death Mark. It's sequel, NG, is going to be translated very soon!

Basically, the story revolves around a rumor of a cursed mark. Anyone who receives the mark will die of horrifying causes within days. You, the protagonist, has no memories, and you find a strange bite-shaped mark on your arm.

The game has a quiet dread kind of horror feel as you investigate your way to get rid of the mark. Interesting characters might appear and join you, too! I think the spirits design are also worth checking out.

I hope this series will get more known!

You'll investigate areas and end the chapter facing spirits head on like this. They get really close, so you can feast your eyes on that lovely design, haha.

If you can't handle jumpscares, no worries! Death Mark relies more on atmosphere and tense moments.

There's a lot of illustrations, and they're as eerie as they are beautiful. I personally love most of them. The artists are good.

I'll be including a really juicy CG from NG~ People say that NG is better, so I think it's better to play Death Mark first so it doesn't feel too clunky compared to NG~
