Do you guys know of any good visual novels that are free?

Mystic Messenger is a very unique game that centres around a chatroom. You have 5 character arcs to follow with 3 being free to play and 2 needing hourglasses to unlock. The good thing about this game is that hourglasses are not too hard to save up if you use them wisely and so you can play the entire game for free, however one of the features includes calling the characters and I highly recommend buying the call card for all of them- there are so many different possible calls and the game is so well made that the purchase is well worth it. My recommended play order would be Zen-Yoosung-Jaehee/Jumin-707 however tempting it is leave 707 until last!

I feel that Katawa Shoujo is the staple for excellent free visual novels. However my personal favorite is Endless Summer which can be downloaded of the web or from Steam if you prefer. I loved the story and the artwork. (The hidden horror storyline was a nice treat as well).

Anything's free if you're a pirate, yar har~

Depends, do you want choice based story line or a long read, if your okay with either, One Thousand Lies is a long read that after you read all the way through, if you click on One Hidden Truth that appears on the menu after reading It all the way through once, you're given another long read that's not even a tenth as long as the story you read before but will leave you with some questions answered and some new ones in their place, There's Endless Summer as Prof. Ours recommended which is a choice based narrative, There's also Trick and Treat, and Connected Hearts, Both of which are also choice based narratives

I have to agree with anonymous, just need to figure out the right way to pirate since I'm not too good with computers but there's so many pricy VN's I wanna play.

There is a number of sites that you can easily download them. Some of them have almost only 18+ games, but they have others as well. Try looking up the VN you want to get and just add free download to the end.

One Visual Novel i love would be "Tokyo Dark". it like a dark super well made and very interesting story about a cop who being controlled by a dark force kills some one in a hostage situation, and then is haunted by them and the lost of her partner. i give it a 8 out of 10. it is very worth the $18.00 on steam!

I haven't played it but I watched it on YouTube and they made the same choices I would have. When the game glitches it's soooo freaky. I did love the end music though

I've never played such games, but once I tried DDLC, I have been looking for a similar experience(to no avail alas). can anyone recommend a good visual novel, I don't mind if it doesn't have any twists.

Little late but most vn that I’ve played, ironically, you can find free by googling eroge download. Sure the websites got buncha porn games as well but theres good ones like rewrite, fate stay night, and the grisaia series. Check it out
